SRacin 44 Report post Posted June 18, 2021 Keen to see more details on your muffler mod. Perhaps a video of how it sounds!? Also loving the attention to detail here. Gives me motivation to continue the tiding up on mine!

freaknout 47 Report post Posted June 18, 2021 1 hour ago, Michael. said: I used a castile style soap, soft nail brush, and soft tooth brush, plus time. Lots of rags and spray on water to wipe the soap off. Then went over them again with Autoglym leather cleaner followed up by a conditioner. The time devoted is key to a good result. Thanks Michael. Looking great.
leichtbau 525 Report post Posted June 18, 2021 I can recommend Pears soap (the orange translucent bar) for leather, you can get it at New World.

Very impressive Only superficial, naturally there is some, mostly on the upper bolster, not the lower one. The low kms the car has done and being garage has definitely helped. Probably one of the reasons I knew I had to buy this car in a heart beat, I saw the potential with how it could come up with a process of TLC.

Absolutely will post more about that. Excited to hear how it sounds. Yet to start some engine work so will be a while away yet before it's ready. I figure these are one of the greatest BMWs of all time, worth the time and attention to detail! Great to hear you are using Autoglym!!

Removing the original bolts and putting in new thread seal / retorquing them of course. 2 hours ago, Autoglym said: Great to hear you are using Autoglym!!
