if F1 M10s were doing 1200bhp in the 80s... i wouldn't be surprised if their 1.5l 3cyl engines can do at least 500hp reliably. PS. Michael. yes it is shopped. 40kg is heavy, probably as heavy as his wife.

The short answer is yes... Wiki says this: If it's the B12 5.7 it would be epic!!

AA reports are a total waste of money IMO especially on a car this old, I mean it's near 10% of the value of the car! Get a good mechanic to spend half an hour looking over it would be your best bet and get a fresh wof at the same time.

$38k? 'e's 'avin' a giraffe! Actually, and all else aside, a 'cooking' 635CSi can be advertised at up to GBP 25k in the UK, so that's $50k here. Extremely unlikely to sell at that price, I feel, but maybe indicative of the way the market may be looking? Typically, selling prices for a good 'un are more likely to be around GBP 6-12k. I paid GBP 7k for my M635CSI, and sold it for the same, but that was many years ago.

Was out at Turners on an unrelated matter today and saw this car. Wow. Looks like a piece of sh*t to put it bluntly. Holes in bumper where splitters should be, engine bay disgusting, bird sh*t all over the back window, lots of scratches, a handful of dents. Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.

No real updates here. Car has done a few thousand kms over the last couple weeks road tripping around the North Island and also done a fair bit of boat launching. It tows really well, still absolutely love it. I'm going to have the Type I's refurbished/repainted. Any recommendations as to where to go? My brother has used Wheel Fix It and the results looked pretty good, they are mobile too. Any other experiences?

lol there is some wank in a black e38 around here that does that. burning around switching lanes between traffic, flying up behind you and flashing his lights trying to get you to move over. then the traffic lights turn red and everyone catches up to him. if that was me id be too embarrassed that everyone caught up to me and id run the red light, but he just sits there acting cool with his hand out the window and his over sized sunnies on.

As Jooles pointed out I just came back from the US and bought one there. Now before I had a chance to use it here (went straight to the Coromandel) my younger brother blew it up without using a transformer. Seeing if anyone here has one before I send it off to Australia to be exchanged (already sent now) - cheers! Bingo
