As a motorcyclist I have to be well aware of what's going on around me. And I get to see a hell of a lot more nonsense than if I was in a car. So these are the things I would like to see people start using whilst driving. 1: Their indicators 2: Their mirrors 3: Their brains! I would also like to see people stop using these things. 1: Their phones. 2: Their god damned phones!!!

So went to start on the deck liner only to remember (or actually got reminded from a mate) that my ute doesn't have the wavy strips most utes have, so off we went to try track down something that would work....AAANNNDDD we found 3m strips of carpet liner door stoppers, which actually work pretty damn well. Price was a little steep at $45 a strip and I needed almost 15meters. Drilled a few holes and used some flat head screws to slide into the strips and hold it into place. NOW hopefully I can get the deck liner on over the next few days. Also picked up a M5 rear bumper from Ray@HellBM today, plan is to mutate the standard touring and M5 sedan into one.

High Kms, non-msport, boring silver colour, auto. Price is about right I would say, lot of car for your money if it all checks out.

The gas thing makes me laugh. Most people spend less than $40 a week on gas. The difference between a 3 litre and the smaller engines is a few bucks a week. Unless you are flooring the car at the lights of course and if you are that juvenile then the difference is nil and the 3 litre blows the opposition away. The bigger engine is safer for over taking as well. I get asked quite often what mileage I get out of my V8's. It amuses me because I don't know anyone who buys V8's for fuel economy.

Spotted a lambo in Singapore. There are a lot of nice cars here! Every 2nd car that's not a taxi is a BMW. It also had the Italian flag painted on the calipurs.

I took my E30 Touring down to Graeme Hughes Panelbeaters on Barrys Point Road to have a look at. They said it would be about $600 + GST, and that was taking the paint down the A, B and C pillars to the crease line. I can't remember the blokes ( owners ) name ( it's not Graeme anymore ), but he was a good dude.

Went out to meet Ray and the team today, impressive collection indeed. Got some good tips for the FULL SMG gearbox conversion for the ute next year. Definitely loving the HellBM vibe...

That is one amazing jigsaw puzzle for someone to put back together! Would be an off-the-scale project but finding the parts required to finish it would be a task in itself, let alone finding the $$$$s to buy them. The end product would be a great car, for those with the time, money, research abilities and tracking skills of a good blood-hound. Good Luck to whoever buys it.
