5 pointsOutdated chassis with a heart from an double headed goat in Tony try hards case. Should have used a E36 compact because thats what real men use after they visit the salon.
-

3 pointsSpotted in Singapore. So you know it cost a packet to register there. AC schnitzer M6 Grand Coupe.
-
2 pointsMines alloy block, no vanos and lots of M50 bits and pieces. Must work tho, keep smashing Getrag boxes, too much torque. Now has a ZF M3 box.
-
2 pointsyou can get +50hp by getting a msport badge. OR if you upgrade your 135i badge to 1M then expect around 100-120hp gains. no lies. edit: $10 on trademe. save $990. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/bmw/accessories/auction-879754120.htm

2 pointsA couple of spare hours this morning: Front removed, N42 & trans extracted, S54 & SMG inserted into it s` new home.
-
2 pointsred paint has lighter and more aerodynamic molecules and hence more streamline when going fast. it will most definitely be faster than a silver car which has more friction against the wind.
-
2 pointsSays the one who is asking others for money so you can supercharge your car.

1 pointhttp://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-879836795.htm For the money that has gone into it, not to mention the sweat, blood and tears, this is cheap. Well I think it's cheap, if you look at what has gone into it, it would be a right little ripper for the coin!
-
1 pointwe don't have to comment like blockheads tho - here we all know that everyone's individual car is their own passion
-
1 pointUp to $2k, but preferably less. We missed a fairly rough-looking but solid and rust-free E30 318 manual (M10 engine), but may be looking at an E36 318is coupe this weekend. Manual is very much preferred - we'd like her to learn to drive properly! If she then decides she wants an auto that's fine, but she'll not be restricted in the future. Mechanical work is acceptable, but significant bodywork not so much (unless the price is right).

1 pointyep its in my driveway now i dont mind so much seeing scruffy ones crashed, but i hate seeing good condition ones like this knocked around

1 pointYeah I once went to Tony's and the guy basically tried selling the most expensive tyre in their catalogue. When I was showing displeasure in the quote he didn't even respond with some other possible brands. I just walked. I don't really appreciate places which are all about beating the competition, but only if you prove someone else's prices.

1 pointI seriously considered entering an E36 320i because it would be a lot of fun. Sadly the power to weight ratio would be no where near competitive with b18c Integras and 4AGE Levins. I think the BMW race series needs to introduce a new class for E36s with the same stock type rules for 2k Cup cars. 328i's out there tearing it up!

1 pointRemind me to park the M3 in the garage if either of these turn up on a track day.
-
1 pointArmature Photographer here, have my own little cameras. But Hamilton is as far as I go mostly. If you grab me a seat, I'll fly down there but it can get a bit expensive
-
1 pointIMO and only my opinion, from what I saw on the track some of the drivers have proably had a bit of help getting in.. there's no way some of those cars cost $2000 or less.
-
1 pointI'm after the complete head, so valves and cams too, as long as they are not damaged. Often when the chain goes, the valves and cams survive.
-
1 pointPics look awesome man, cheers for that. Needs more bulk at the back I reckon. Bob tail.
-
1 pointIf the engine is still in the car, I use a socket/strong arm/pipe so the arm is set about 100mm away from a solid point in rotation direction (chassis rail etc) & flick the starter. Works a treat, except on a Honda with reverse engine rotation...
-
1 pointbut people dont, so you need to resort to have a rule or their are no rules. Anyways it doesnt matter cause akl/wlg motorway driving isnt going to change so no point getting angry about it ... just sit in the traffic and take it.
