Hey guys! Met some of you at the meet at the sushi shop. Was nice to finally take the old girl out to a meet. Been spending many.. many hours tidying this car up and bringing it up to scratch. Its a 1994 US Spec LHD M3

Ok so i was at the meet today which inspired me to make a thread for my new car So yesterday the 4/07/2015 i bought a new bmw after selling my vw golf mk3 gti the night before, so i upgraded to a 328i motorsport nz new e36 wagon thats done 210ks and been well looked after. its automatic which im fine with for now allways being in traffic on my way to work but i do for see a manual conversion coming in the future! the only defaults i can find are a few scratches few shopping trolley dents and a thin layer of clear coat which i can fix being a spraypainting apprentice, other than this the car is great condition for its age same year i was born! so without further adue i bring to you my wagon

This is Tony Ramlose's car- he had a business at the back of Turners Car Auctions in Mt Wellington around 2004. (Is it still there?). Around that time he was importing a decent amount of left hand drive 80's exotics from Japan. E30 M3's, E24 M6's, E34 M5's Lancia Integrale's, some Porsche's etc. some were in fairly good nick, some were rather suss. Due to the left hand drive thing, many ended up being purchased as track weapons - with some having their engines /running gear transplanted into lesser powered right hand drive machines. This M6 was one of a few brought in back then. To me they all kind of looked tired - as if they were owned by people who might have lost their love for them. Saying that though, there was quite a tidy E34 M5. I reckon if someone bought this cheap it could be a good track car or alternatively could maybe worth restoring. A mint, restored LHD M635csi could command some big $$$ in Europe!

as far as I'm concerned you only buying the right to contact them ie their email address (think bout that for a tic) that goes for aaanything on the site the $$$ are fairly inconsequential but do hold some 'value' in the fact that you 'agree' to the price or 'offer' more than anyone else who has seen the listing then have the sellers contact to go with it My names jared & thats my story but yea, good luck with that but now you at least have their contact (impossible to reneg on the contact details been sent to each other imagine a list of all the BimmerNZers names & trademe accounts allowing the bypassing of all tm 'fee's ( or a larger scale whole cities etc

Hey, finally got sick of my Audi A3 3.2 so went out and found a black '08 manual 135i import. This was 2.5 months ago. Stock. Hasnt taken long to tune it up, Accesstune stage 2+ FMIC, semi slicks etc. Needs a LSD!! Just chucked a CSL carbon boot on it today, still looks stealthy though.

Your absolutely right Glen. Mud flaps have to go. Though I will be replacing them with these. Towbar's going too. Since I've decided to keep the 740i as my daily that'll stay the tow car.

Suresh, just took a quick look at the Vargas Stg2+ Turbos .. Looks like they're using MHI tech - Mitsubishi TD04 frames and various Mitsubishi compressor and turbine wheels (which is awesome because imo, they are one of the best) here is a link to a compressor flow map for the 19T wheel .. theyre pretty large and flow a lot of air!!! http://www.stealth316.com/images/td04h-19t-cfm.gif the 20t is usually estimated at 10% more flow than the 19t but I can't find a compressor map. mostly used on the 3L Mitsi GTO as an aftermarket option. opinions are that the 19t does have some issues. suggest going for a 20t and perhaps clipping the turbine if youre going for all out power

Work now begins on the tailend. Lovely plastic joining/moulding by Mark @ Plastic Repairs in Glenfield. Combination or a M3 bumper and a touring bumper. Pics of mockup and trial fitment.
