2 pointsHad a 'proper' suspension alignment done on the 320d a few days ago. It seems it was going in a straight line more by luck than judgement, or by virtue of everything being wrong coincidentally pointing the car back in a more-or-less straight line.

1 point2007 E61 550i Touring M-Sport in Midnight Blue - $22,000 or near offer with just 75,000kms on it Serviced regularly and has recent WOF (expires Feb 2017). Running on OEM 18" Continental contisport SSR tyres and has new OEM wiper blades ready for winter. A real driver’s car with masses of performance, M-Sport style and the practicality of a wagon! 270KW 4.8L V8 6 speed auto Motorsport suspension, body kit and wheels. Black leather interiror. It does have the rear cargo blind (missing in so many vehicles for sale). The vehicle was heavily optioned with … Panorama sunroof Xenon adaptive headlights that turn with steering Fully adjustable comfort seats Read passenger blinds etc. And since I’ve owned it: Upgraded i-Drive unit to get NZ navigation and radio, CD player in dash (Not Minidisk) plus added Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, iPod and USB. (~$3200) Fitted a high amp USB charger in the glovebox to charge devices without cables around the gear stick. Purchased the space saver tyre option ($600) to allow for non-run flat tyres. I also have factory BMW roof rack to fit onto the roof rails. ($800). Averages on 9L per 100kms open road and 12.5L per 100kms around town, depending how you drive it of course Only a couple of cosmetic issues with small amount of paint missing right at the bottom of the front air dam body kit below the bumper. (not obvious when looking at it) and the Air conditioning off button is missing a small chip of plastic. (Button still works, see photo’s) I never bothered fixing either of these as they are minor cosmetic items. 1 pointHi, hoping someone knows this trader so that I can contact them about a few parts. w.industries He seems to have a pretty good selection but it's a long drive for me to go and pick things up so would like to organise in advance and TM is being problematic.

1 pointHi guys, My names Lidushan, my brother got me hooked on the e30 since he bought his first one a couple of years ago. Finally bit the bullet and got this amazing 1986 325i. Love it to bits. Looking to do a manual conversion and put 15inch spokes on it. Any advise would be great. Thank you (sorry the sun roof isn't up in the photo) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1 pointThanks Olaf, tried that. Put up a wanted ad as well. I was hoping that the above trader was registered to this site so that I could buy through someone associated with Bimmersport hence the question.

1 pointYeah, there are about 4 leds in the centre console, so i doubt it was them flattening your battery overnight!

1 pointCan recommend Auto Interior Specialists: http://www.auto-interior.co.nz/home.html they are on Newton Road in Ponsonby, next to Eastern Automatics (another place I'd recommend if you have an auto European car; they are ZF certified repairers). I got them to replace a section of leather in my rear seats which had dried out and split... They took the whole thing off and they matched the panelling and original stiching method, from memory it only cost me $260.

1 pointHaha... I'd be siliconing and riveting a piece of perspex or similar over it, considering it's a 2k cup car.

1 pointHave you checked for rodents in the exhaust? Sometimes they nest there, might be tapping into the electrical system drawing some power for their lights..

1 pointlike Andy said earlier in the thread, make sure you pay the carpark owner for the vehicle, just a nominal sum will do. If your receipt included 'abandoned car' in the description, that could help you later. Once you own it and have a receipt stating this, then you'll have something to work with - in terms of getting keys, a locksmith, a tow, insurance, rego etc etc. The advice of a lawyer here may save you pain/money later.

1 pointI have a NZ new E91 with the electric factory release towbar. Mine also doesn't lock in when released, but i suspect it is due to the extra weight of the crappy modification that has been done so the chain from the trailer can be fitted. Mine has two brackets that are bolted together on either side of the towbar . They don't sit square and the trailer electrical connection cant fit on (due to the bracket) . I also have trouble getting the trailer on and off. Basically mine needs modification so it can be used for towing. I have found that you do have to hold your finger on the button for at least 5 second to get it released.
