Hi all, I am the lucky new owner of one of a kind BMW - Brent's 1986 E28 535i. What a great car, and somome of you may know the car more than I do. I haven't got a chance to take her out for a spin yet, but if the weather permitted this weekend I will definitely took her out for a spin. Just be gentle when you see me nanaing on the road lol

Been out cruising for a couple of days. Car got dirty and driven hard coming over Fields track. What an awesome piece of road. How to park your BMW. Please note, it takes real skill to take up 3 car parks..lol

Found an E36 radiator that fits perfectly between the chassis rails so made some mounts and now it's in. Also fitted my engine mounts and adapters. The adapters needed a couple of small alterations before everything lined up 100%, somewhat like a custom-made suit, if you will. Also sideways mode has been activated with the installation of the LSD: I also replaced the center bearing in the driveshaft but the front needs to be modified as it's not the same as the e34 one, meaning it doesn't like up with the guibo. And this one's entitled "A new perspective":

Nice drive, personally I'd hang out for a 740, but then I've got 2 already LOL Certainly Mspec and my 740 Mspec definitely drives better then the standard. Not quite the same agility as the E39 was but damn fine all the same and more then enough for myself.

Project: Convert E46 HELLM3 into a S65/manual E46/E92 hybrid. Our approach will differ to the other more complicated ways of making things fit. We aim to not tamper with steering and suspension setup. Started with a donor E46 to use as a mockup with a cutoff wheel taken to a subframe. Engine /gearbox placement has been achieved quite nicely (great skills `HellBoy`) Engine mounts ,gearbox mounts, exhaust to be fabricated by Quest. To compensate for the extra height added by the E65 plenum we will fabricate an E92 M3 bonnet dome onto the E46 M3 bonnet. Pics will tell the story.

Nice - would have been better thematically if it wasn't a M41 and was a Panzer of some description... would have been 2 German tanks

I think this is how some alignment guys think it should be; if it all cancels each other out to effectively 'zero' the car, she's apples mate. sigh. when these cars are well-aligned, it can be, well.... sublime!

Yeah it is a Hamman, stamped on there. Complete mission to get it off though, have to attempt again tonight/tomorrow. Two screws nearly de-threaded which I'll have to drill through and silicone by the looks of it holding it in place. I'll get there

its an oil burner ... 540i was traded for a New 2016 CX-5 2.2 diesel turbo (twin turbo) AWD. Handles very BMW like and out of all the SUVs it was the only one that felt not only like a car but a well sorted 3 series. So im very happy in that regard. Has 420nm of torque so throws you back in your seat quite nicely. The 6 speed auto has 80% lockup and shifts as fast as a DSG but without the dreaded DSG pump issues. Ooo and it rev matches on down shifts .. Did look at getting another bimmer and for the price I paid I could of got something pretty nice, but I couldn't quite stretch / stomach paying for a second hand x3 with less spec and 30-40000ks on the clock for the same money it cost to buy new , warrenty and free servicing is quite attractive. The e30 isnt going anywhere so havent walked off from BMW at all. Also working on lots of Rays projects to keep the buzz alive.

Here's a couple from the other day. It needs de-badging, tinting and lowering but I love it. I've wanted a 7 for years so it's my baby.
