New Whip, tricky to find run out E39 540i. Sold out of the 996 and I get a quad bike for the lifestyle block.

You've got a big wang? And you're covering it up? Very modest of you!

Hey guys and girls, About to make up some adaptor plates for those fitting an M50 manifold to an E36, and thought I'd make a few spares in case anyone here wants them? They are hand made so don't expect perfection, however you don't see them and they do work well, easy to install etc - I'm running one on mine now without any problems. If there's any interest let me know, plan on making about 5 to start with but can make more easily.

To be frank mine was actually top of the line albeit ~20 yrs ago. Every euro seems to be 'ego massaging' to some.

guys, 194s are easy to keep clean. I purchased an Auto Glym Hi Tech wheel brush from BarryN of this parish, they are the bomb. Recommended. Stiff yet soft (no stretching), durable, and gets into the tight spots. Last for years, too. Quality.

Nice idea! I do want to unroll/unstretch the rear arches, but I suspect that'll be a cut them out and attach new ones job. Economy. 1155.6km on less than 75 litres of fuel. That's less than 6.5 litres per 100km, making it cheaper to run than the 320d (once RUCs, extra rego and suchlike are taken into account). Doesn't have the same performance, power or torque, of course. All the same, seriously tempted to find an E46 1.8/1.9 (M43) Touring.

Hey Scott - congrats on the getting the 550i I've had my 2004 E60 545i since October last year and have had the oil seals on the engine done as they started leaking right after I got it. I have a 3-year AutoSure MBI plan (thank heavens) and the dealer covered the repair excess. Just today I've had it in for another oil leak and this time it is the main seal on the gearbox which is again a small part but 10hrs labour to get it sorted. Another MBI claim - making in total 4 claims in less than a year. engine oil leak waterpump self-destruct CCC (iDrive) death gearbox oil leak I do love the car but old plastic and rubber only lasts so long - yours is newer so hopefully you don't have to deal with so many things for s while. I'm hoping that after this year I can reduce my spend - as I've also replaced cracked cupholders, worn door trims and a battery. Glad I didn't spend more than I did buying the car in the first place ($14K w/MBI)! Perhaps I see Japanese cars in my future again . . . Good luck sorting the oil leak issues - If you don't have a MBI you should totally get one once you have the current issues sorted.
