Possibly not the best choice of words, but I was trying to keep it in plain English rather than use industry jargon! lots of very exciting product in the pipeline right now.

While the 6-series appears to have gone quietly into the night, there is hope. A new 8-series looks likely. More news on May 26th.

Been lurking for a while, but since I've just posted my first comment I thought I'd better do the 'intro' thing as well. I've had this UK import Z4 since 2013 and have had a lot of fun with it, along with a few jobs that needed doing (soft top motor sitting in a pool of water - most common fault on these cars). I've done all of the jobs myself so far including the oil changes, new discs/pads, replacement roof motor (can almost take roof off blindfolded now...), brake fluid, ABS pump replacement and so on. Also using NCS and Carly to do coding. It's been a great learning experience, and fun to drive (that's the point after all, isn't it?) And since I've been around long enough to know these threads are useless without pics...

Their loss if they didn't 2004-2006 last of the E46s would have been a good buy!

Fixed, tightened the absolute s**t out of the pipe connecting to the turbo by squeezing my hand down there with a little spanner. Just in time for my track session at Pukekohe, so I got to run the stage 1+ 98 RON tune at the track! Kept up with an Evo and had a V8 Mustang disappear into the distance behind me. The Mustang was an automatic convertible though, coupe might have been a different story.

So been running the media player and working through having the USB hub power up and down when the raspberry Pi wakes up and sleeps. A start up script triggers one of the pi's gpio pins high which triggers a audrino relay, this turns in the 12 volt to 5 volt power supply . This powers the hub and give the blueray player enough power to operate. the audio quality achieved by the Pi and optical dac straight into the dsp as worked out very well. With the system at full volume there is no background noise . Have given the system a bit more time alignment so from the drivers seat the left and right speakers have enough delay and offset for the stereo image to appear dash hieght and centred . I've also moved the midbass roll off up to 75 Hz without effecting midbass impact too much. Also added an M3 theme to the media centre menus.
