I've been exposed to similar situations as this Graham. If the company feels it's in their (or mutual) best interests to end the relationship they may be willing to provide a written positive reference to expedite that. It's worth asking - 'hey guys, this clearly isn't working out and it's not in our best interests to keep trying, I'm happy to start looking for other opportunities if you're willing to help with a good reference for me' - and, depending on how much you can tolerate, you could even negotiate to stay on whilst you're looking for a new job, perhaps in a reduced capacity if required or desired. Best wishes mate, these situations are sh*t.

Wow OK. It's a low spec 4 door 320i Jap import with an engine swap. It looks great. But it's not a desirable model. That is what I would expect to pay for a mint M325i. And I don't think I would ever trust an E30 speedo cluster.

Oh wow that is Scamlish for sure. Any German would speak perfect English as previously mentioned. Or would use a translator which would not make more spelling mistakes than a stuff.co.nz article.

Finally got around to updating this. The 540i sold to a guy just around the corner from me in Wellington. He was thinking about joining the local BMW club so I hope to see him and the car at an event soon . Having done a lot of long-distance trips over the New Year period I certainly miss the E39! The 540i is the best road trip car I have ever driven. I'll hopefully be back in an E39 in the future
