Gave mine a wash in the weekend, sitting at 297,000km... need to get that last 3000 before the new lump gets in. Been hunting endlessly for a Simota airbox, cant find anything, looks like no longer available... once the MILVs/Tune/Headers are in its about all thats left on the list (short of that BMWP wheel with the digital read out...) The GruppeM intakes are available, but from what Ive seen first hand not really worth the price 😕

Rust is probably your biggest thing. There are some crossovers with suspension parts with the likes of the e3/e24 maybe some e28 stuff to. @BM WORLD is probably the man to ask

Loving this little weapon, it's a perfect partner to the E39. When I am in the mood for a wafty cruise the 5 series is perfect , when hoon mode is engaged the 130i such an engaging drive. Drives super tight not a rattle or creak to be had, my only negative so far is the change into second feels just a little clunky and louder and the headlights need a good refurb. Sounds glorious I am quite surprised how loud it is. Anyone have a short shift kit installed ?

Finally had a spare moment to fill the diff and refit the exhaust on the m3 last night. Also fitted my new intake. Now need to redo that hose to the booster round the back to make it look a bit nicer.

Not mine. But sorted a clients e30 out properly. Did the rear output shaft seal, selector shaft seal, transmission guibo, rebuilt the shifter with new bushings and pivot cup, did the control arms and control arm bushings in the front, inner rack ends and tie rod ends, rocker cover gasket and set the valve clearances. Today was a good day. Also got the black one in the picture in for a m20b25 swap and manual conversion. Currently is a m20b20 with a knocking big end bearing. Pictures posted with clients consent. Tidied the garage and got stuck into some polishing... ...I own near $3K worth of DA and rotary polishers from Rupes and De Walt which are some 1700km away from me, and boy are my arms tired! An "acceptable" mirror shine by hand with a single hand pad and bottle of cutting compound, but it just shows how rooted the clear coat is. I'm dearly missing my proper gear. There's so much CMA thrown over the roads down here over winter, and I daily drive it in snow with snow socks that I shouldn't get too worked up about it.

Fitted the seats I had reupholstered about 4 to 5 years ago in finally. They compliment the grey really nicely. Also fixed my odo gears with new one's as the odo stopped working just after I fitted the seats coincidently

Fitted a reverse camera! Interfaces properly with the idrive (not an OE camera module) but methinks it was designed around the bigger screen as the visual PDC display is pretty small.

Still never gets old looking at this. Glad we found a good home for it!
