Hey Grant, Reversing lights are in section 10, under optional lights in the regulations, I just had a look. 10.5 Fitting and performance requirements for reversing lamps 10.5(1) The light emitted by a reversing lamp, when operated, must be substantially white. 10.5(2) A motor vehicle, other than one in <a href="http://www.landtransport.govt.nz/rules/vehicle-lighting-2004.html#1054">10.5(4), may be fitted with one or two reversing lamps that operate only when: (a) the reverse gear is engaged; or ( the headlamps are extinguished. 10.5(3) A reversing lamp fitted to a motor vehicle must emit a diffuse light or a dipped beam of light; http://' target="_blank">10.5(4) A vehicle of Group A must not be fitted with a reversing lamp.

Why? The E28 setup is as good as the E30, better in fact as you have 5 stud, and a much better range of wheels. Some people even go the other way and swap the E28 subframe into an E30, it's stronger and has bigger axles. It would be a lot of pain for no gain as far as I can see.

Very nice, 6 speed manual too. It wouldn't be slow and lazy either.

Seems a bit too good for Puke. He's 2 secs behind Mr Delmont on his Manfeild times, but 3 secs faster at Puke, doesn't add up, I think the 1.05 is closer to the mark, still very quick.

Are the brake light and tail light working? There are no relays in the boot on these, it'll be a simple dirty connection somewhere if I know these cars. Take the bulb out and check it, clean the contact areas and try again, making sure the bulb holder has good contact with the light fitting. You could try taking the bulb and holder from the other side and fitting it, see if it works? Front indicator problems are normally the same, dirty contacts, same procedure, clean well and retry. If it still won't go, try an auto sparky.

Also looking seriously at converting the Taxi for next year, turbo Mmmmmmm .

You can remove the dampers and use the 320 mounts on a 318, a lot of the series cars have done this, the 320 mounts are stronger.
