Speedo reading comes from the diff, I'd suggest a problem in the gauge cluster.
-
Can't make up your mind James, is it 2.1 $800, 4.1 $750, or 4.1 $700 as the cost?
-
What style are the wheels?
-
Yeah, I'm 99% sure it's M10 as well.
-
That flywheel is NOT from a M40, this will not fit. Looks M10 or 20 to me.
-
You need to make sure it's for your M40, facelift 318i, and not from a prefacelift M10.
-
+1 Marty, don't want to let this die, or maybe just get a good group together and hire the track for the twilight zone for $500. Only $50 each if we get 10 people, for 2 and 1/2 hrs of pleasure, once a month over the summer?
-
Clubsport's only $60 James.
-
Turbo M30, cheaper, faster, more reliable. Win, win, win.
-
Careful James, you may be setting yourself up to get OSHed if there are any incidents?
-
it has an M30 engine already.

How come you get that big email, and all I get, as the lead bidder, is this. Dear David, The auction for "BMW 325i E30 5SPD 1986", which you have bid on, has been withdrawn by Trade Me customer support as it breached our terms and conditions. We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Regards, Trade Me Customer Support

No sensors there, but could be your battery on it's way out.
-
Think of it as a rescue mission.
-
No, relax, they would need to be machined to fit your E36.
-
I couldn't convince myself as to it's authenticity, pity there was too much doubt.
-
Been there Shelley, it's not too bad. Make sure you have all your facts and figures right and you'll be OK. I guess the good thing this way, is that you have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain, so just go for it.
-
What's the betting it gets relisted?
-
Happy Birthday Nath.
-
Just time and patience. A couple of the race cars have been 325's, and converted back.
-
I agree Graham, but I guess they have a contract to fulfill which would be very expensive to get out of.

Schumi to replace Massa, will be interesting to say the least. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport...one/8172310.stm

Not too surprising I guess. The German car manufacturer, who took over Sauber in 2005, have cited "current developments in motor sport" as the reason for their pull-out. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/motorsport...one/8173865.stm

There's a bleed screw on top of the same fitting you're taking off to do the thermostat. After you've done the thermo, fill the radiator and run the engine till the thermo opens, then open the bleed screw until it runs straight water with no bubbles coming out, then do it up.
