And E30. -
Happy Birthday Marty.
-
Title, $3000ono Looks tidy, good luck.
-
So long as the spacers are the same size as the hub, and have the locating centre, longer bolts are fine.
-
The big right hander is Jennian, 180 k corner in 5th flat out. Up over Ford is 4th, around 140 to 150 k's, depending on grip.
-
Certainly not at that price either.

there are a few crowds around who do this sort of kit. from IE site. When a BMW is lowered the rear suspension gains camber. Often you end up with too much camber. This kit consists of 2 sets of eccentrics and slotted brackets. Brackets are welded to the inboard trailing arm pickup points and eccentrics allow you to adjust camber. Removal of rear subframe, welding and some grinding is required. This kit fits most BMW's with rear trailing arms including E30,E30M3, E9, E24, E28, Z3's, and E36 318ti. One kit does both sides. Please speecify model and year. We also offer similar kit for toe adjustment. Most racers will want both. Picture shows 2 kits for illustration.

Trailing arm can be done in place, just a pain to get at the top bolts at the cross member, but I've done a few now and it isn't too bad.

Milan's is a M30B35 in an E34, David's is a M30B35 in an E28, Zac's is a S38B35 in an E24. Mine is a standard 200k engine from a road car, not sure what Milan's is, Zac's is ITB's, M6 motor I think.
-
Have to change my sig pic I guess? Is Zac racing, or just on show?
-
Milan will have his E34 there, and there's an E21, a couple of E28s , and loads of M3s.
-
Just in case anyone didn't know, the Racing's starting at Puke this weekend. Should be around 50 E30s, and 30 plus open class cars, incl that white E46 of moe's. Could be close to 100 BMWs with entries in the other classes. Andrew and Ollie are both racing as well.

Sorry Chris, yes, the less room for expansion, the better your brakes will work, that's why you change the rubber lines to braided ss.
-
You are kidding aren't you? Brake lines should be steel for as much as possible, and only hose where they need to flex. They are high pressure lines, and hose would not be nice. Also must be certed if changed from standard I believe?
-
how long are my brakes gonna last?

Shine a torch into the calliper and see how much pad is left, should be ok till they start screeching, metal on metal. -
I think you need a return hose to the reservoir from the engine, other than the one from the thermostat? AFAIK water needs to be able to circulate thru the tank, and then thru the radiator when the thermo's open. Stand to be corrected tho.
-
What's happening with these Jono?
-
From memory they are around $280 for the set of 6 for a disk brake rear, so about $45 per piece.
-
Does this box have the bolt on bellhousing?
-
Don't you mean 16x16x9?
-
Would have thought that was light for a 6 pot, gaskets, full top and bottom, around $300, rings and bearings, $650 for full set, Head, grind and skim, $300, Block, skim, $100, That's without hoses etc, and assuming you have no problems with the existing crank and head. I know of people who have spent around twice that for parts alone, and been happy with it.
-
Thought that was with stretch bolts Glenn? The M30 has standard bolts, not stretch.
-
Straight swap, only difference is they fold forward.
