Not surprised are you Glenn? Heard the phones were all out on Monday.

OK, seems to have been a slow day in the office for most of you guys judging by some of the threads on here tonight, so see if you can come up with some ideas for me. The E28's gone in for a new coat of white paint, should get it back on Monday next week, and need some ideas for a vinyl scheme to make it stand out. Also going to get a new heart, not the M88 yet, but a new M30. The head's getting ported and flowed, and has come back with a flow rate for around 350 HP, so now I need all the rest to get it as close as I can. Looking at around a 304 cam, any comments on that? Have a set of stainless headers for it, and am going to run with the E34 intake and port the head to match, I'm using the earlier head but adding the larger E34 valves as the air flows quite a lot faster, so more torque. Then it's off to Gavin at Hi Velocity for a full remap and tune. And I have that lovely close ratio box and 3.46 LSD to add as well as a set of Whiteline sways, and a full set of new arms and bushes for the underside. Bring on the new season.

Ouch, I'll stick to my M5 stuff thanks, works real well.

Try this one for bolt on stuff. http://aaron.aussiefiverdriver.com/E28%20Brake%20upgrade.htm

No, your gearbox won't fit, you'll need the whole lot to make it work.

We run 6 or 7 computers here most of the time.

Yeah, it's the top one, pretty sure you're holding the left side.

Baby Car Seats in an E30 coupe?
Silver Fox replied to d3l33t1ngurthr34ds's topic in General Discussion
The long side of the centre belt goes straight up to it and clips in, keeps it off the seat. -
Should be a plastic cover above the glovebox, and one to the right of the glovebox to cover the wires. As per dwg, remember it's LHD so look at the other side.

Baby Car Seats in an E30 coupe?

It's a tidy for the seat belt end. -
Looks real nice, but built up from 325 would be my guess. Wonder if it has a black headliner?
-
Nope. Reg on this has it as 325i.

My problem Martyn is that it seems to be cars, not bits, that I buy. Have 6 x E28's now, and still have one to pick up that I've paid for, so that will be 7. Bought an E23 for the motor, have 5 x E30's, for parts and as race cars, and 2 x E36's for my girls. Good thing I've got a bit of space at home, but extra lucky to have an understanding wife. Can't seem to say no when people ring up and tell me they have a car I can have for next to nothing, Wonder if there's a pill I can take to cure me?

I'm with you, change the leads for a decent set, and try new plugs as well. If it's not showing any of the normal blown head signs, then it's more likely to be electrics.
-
Also has the steering wheel on the wrong side.

Been for sale for 6 or 8 months at least. The best 6's are the later ones on the E28 platform, post 86 I think. Prior to this they can have a few problems.

Diff change can alter that if you want it to rev lower, just put a higher diff in it, easy to do, and quite cheap.
-
If you have a small leak then the airlock theory makes most sense. You need to bleed thoroughly, and if that doesn't work, then put a hose up the small bottom rad hose on the passengers side, and try to flush water right thru.

No E23 on the list?
-
Go M30, all the torque you'll ever need, pulls harder than a schoolboy. Buy a manual E34, been 2 go lately for around $1000 to $1500 that I know of. Will give you 170 plus rwhp as is, and a lot more if you try. Solid reliable motor, look after it and it'll go forever. My 2c.
