  1. Anyone in Auckland willing to share their movie collection ? No porn or Automotive stuff. Just straight out family / adult movies and no transformer sh*t. Have a 64 gig stick... beers/trade etc. Just need some entertainment on hand if we loose Sky in the motor home. Pop me a PM
  2. Yes I'm very very sure. I have the larger 325MS axles with the medium case diff and output flanges which are shorter than the Ti flanges. You need to modify the height of the ABS sensors too as the outer CV joint is larger... It's all covered in my build threads

    Priorities

I had a bad day yesterday- not work related I'm still recovering from pneumonia and my energy levels are quite low... and NO Nathan, I wasn't at the pub, never been there for years. Went home to sort out some wiring in the Motor Home after having a new satellite receiver fitted. They did a pretty good job but not to my standard. Next time you want to run me out of coolant Nathan, ring me first. I can do a better price than that for you. Thanks for the kind words up there^^^^ guys. Appreciate that I'll close this thread

    Priorities

I'm really starting to feel why I bother coming here to help and support this community anymore. It's been a journey I have enjoyed to a large degree , but my priorities have changed with adult children and grandchildren. I also don't have the passion I once had and I enjoy more the lifestyle of motor homing in the Mercedes Motor Home. My project Compact is also for sale if anyone is interested and at this stage it's not going on Tardme. I also don't want to be insulted by lowball offers by retards that I've had in the past. I feel I want to continue to help, but the passions not there anymore. Too many face book jokeys and google copy and paste experts who I'm not really interested in arguing with. For those that don't know, sponsors on here , like myself pay a monthly fee to be here. We offer free advice and give discounts and sometimes we don't even get thanks for what we do. Iv'e met lots of great people here and quite a few other types of people I won't mention. It's been a great 10 year trip, but I'm unsure whether I'm interested in continuing Kind regards to all of you out there
  5. You really need to get this scanned with a proper scanner and by a person who actually knows how to evaluate the fault codes correctly and has an understanding and experience dealing with this model
  6. Fault codes will head you in the right direction if the scanner is capable of giving you the right fault codes. A blocked or partially blocked cat can also give the same symptoms
  7. The chassis mod is a minor job that takes about half an hour. Check my build thread. Check what the E30 guys are running as far as ratios go
  8. Shouldn't you be wanting the medium case and using the larger, stronger Motorsport axles off the 325. That's what I'm using
  9. I understand what you are saying Dave, but the "actual" fault is yet to be diagnosed properly. At this stage it's an undiagnosed noise, which in my opinion is only a guess by "Danger" as to the actual problem
  10. If you haven't, and / or someone else hasn't diagnosed what the actual noise or problem is, do you think it's wise to start blindly pulling things apart without knowing what the fault is ?? You may find you start introducing more costly repairs by not having the experience or tools to carry out this work to a reasonable standard. 99% of a successful repair is diagnosing accurately what the problem is first before you pick up a tool to repair the fault.
  11. Well done Jason the grandies will love it...mine do and so do I
  12. The anniversary of giving up smoking for "LIFE" comes around again in 7 days time. Did I help anyone else give up ? I hope I did. If your a smoker, will you please read this thread. If you have had similar experiences that you would like to add to help others, please share so others can understand. Please contribute here maybe there will be others our experiences may help. It's not easy, but sharing and talking about it shore helps.
  13. Instrument repairers that make speedo cables can help with that. Try Robinson Instrument Services in Sale Street Auckland
  14. No offence intended, but I'd say ring Brent or Ray $500
  15. You can't change the registration details- I've been there
  16. Give me a call in the morning (09)2722546
  17. You need a far better scanner to determine your fault.
  18. I could probably write 95% of the list right now
  19. Talk to Ross @ BM Workshop Botany (09) 2716636 or Guido @ BM Workshop Grey Lynn (09) 3761236
  20. Did you not read my previous post Craig ?
  21. I'd rather not thank you
