Just finished making up my bait launcher canon proto type. Fired it tonight at 100Psi and achieved approx 200m outside the house with a lemon mounted in the barrel. The barrel length / pressure needs to be fine tuned. I know alot of these are for sale and have been made., but mine can safely be used at higher pressure due to the materials I have used and the way I have modified the sprinkler valve firing mechanism. I've made it to breakdown for cleaning and easy storage and so far it's hand held but will be building a launching pad/ rod holder and bait station. The barrel is 40mm and will have frozen bait bullets to include, sinker 2 baited hooks, traces and berley to make the bullet. Safety systems are built in and all gear apart from the barrel are 200psi rated. The safety valve is 150psi

Hydraulic lifters... what oil and oil filter are you using?
-
I'm happy to look and provide an estimate... but I won't quote without stripping. These big blocks are prone for cracking heads and blocks. There are many other requirements to carry out this repair properly
-
I doubt you will get that done for that price (2k) in a BMW workshop doing the job properly

The only good feature is the engine type ... M43

I would only go new . I can supply for $236.26 + Gst

Common fault- thermal level sensor in sump
-
That will throw a fault code.. no need to look.... you need to scan it
-
The fault code was for the throttle potentiometers implausible signal from memory... what happened??

will be interesting to see what this goes for

Seen it before. No one checks fuel hoses and the fuel rail when doing a service -
The after market bulbs will throw errors unless the cold check is coded out. Bling costs $$$ getting rid of bling costs $$. The front bulbs genuine cost $65.00 + Gst each. The wiring will also have been played with and the original plugs will be missing as well
-
No... put the right bulbs in or get someone to code out the cold test... we don't get involved with AM substitutes

I get 12 cents a litre off with my NZMCA Fuel card and petrol

Not sure what her plans are Paul... I'm thinking she might like to be like the russian girl Svetlana Kapanina

I'm so proud to be her Dad. Kerrins first aerobatic solo. She only got her PPL about six months ago, has 2 seater and 4 seater ratings and now she's into the extreme stuff. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2J1mZnCQj2GRlFZMmlyN3gyVHM/view?usp=sharing_eid&ts=569b3d23&pref=2&pli=1

NATHAN !!!....... call it a day.... It's now a parts car or donor . The engine has issues and the transmission is toast. Even if it was running properly it's only worth $5,000 on a good day
-
That transmission is now toast without a rebuild, including the torque converter which also has a lock up clutch in it

Turbo / compressor side air leak. Possibly a charge pipe or hose connection -
I see you have changed the title. I was assuming front. And I'm not wrong. Realoem's description is wrong. It's a drop arm (dog bone). Check BMW ETK and I wasn't being bad mannered or trolling
