All serious contenders can make contact and it can be arranged. Glad to see we are back on topic BTW: I pretty sure I posted the complete list of the Sultans cars in a previous thread somewhere...I tried looking for it, but couldnt find it. Could we please try and keep this thread on topic though... pretty please Thanks Glenn

How they are made & how they attach. The //M next to 850csi is factory

Parts arrived from Germany today. Should be all sorted by Thursday...so long as something else doesnt give with all the new pressures operating the brake and ASC systems. BTW: For the purists (and eagles) the roundels came as well and I've fitted them. They are different from all the other BMW roundels (X Germany)

My score You scored a total of 33 The Loyal Friend Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

Blown= as in a leg out of bed -
No it doesnt. Just has to be secure in the boot, so it doesnt become a projectile in an accident

E36 M3 Turbo Part 2
*Glenn* replied to ecko_complex's topic in Forced Induction & Performance Tuning
I dont want to be a kill joy here. I really hope the guys have got it all set up right for you..... I really do. The only reason I'm saying this is because all the BMW's Ive experienced with blown engines, its always No5 or No3 cylinders. Dont know why though. Hope they got it all right though.... for your sake. M3 engines dont come cheap, and youve really stuck your neck on the block with this one. Hope its all good though Cheers Glenn -
BTW: You dont have to have a spare tyre for a WOF. Alot of new cars dont have spare tyres now

WHEN I'M 100, IF I LEAN A LITTLE, LET ME!! The family wheeled Grandma out on the lawn, in her wheelchair, where the activities for her 100th birthday were taking place. Grandma couldn't speak very well, but she would write notes when she needed to communicate. After a short time out on the lawn, Grandma started leaning.. to the right, so some family members grabbed her, straightened her up, and stuffed pillows on her right. A short time later, she started leaning to her left, So again the family grabbed her and stuffed pillows on her left. Soon she started leaning forward, so the family members again grabbed her, and then tied a pillowcase around her waist to hold her up. A nephew who arrived late came up to Grandma and said, 'Hi, Grandma, you're looking good! How are they treating you?' Grandma took out her little notepad and slowly wrote a note to the nephew...... . . . . 'Bastards won't let me fart.'

E30 gearbox does not fit an E36
-
Yes he did say that however, turbo or supercharger are probably his only options
-
Keep your options open. If your going to go to all the trouble of fitting a M50B25 why not go for a M52B28 manual conversion, if the oportunity arises. Same amount of work, and more grunt Keep your eyes open for a damaged E36 M52B28

Only the factory space saver will fit in the tyre bay on a 316 or 318TI. Otherwise you will have to carry it in the boot and you wont have any room for shoes & handbags. Besides that it wont be secure either, and that is a WOF fail. Edit: You sure you havent already got a spare ?? It fits under the car, not in the boot.
-
At those prices...they wont be OEM. They will probably be cheap chinese rotors and Silverline disc pads which are crap.
-
I'm pretty sure its Wolf Mufflers in Mt Eden
-
For a 318 I, all you need is OEM pads and rotors. Thats what I'm running in mine, and I've got 2.8 litres of grunt in mine.. and I do DRIVE it. Like someone has already said...youve probably got crap fitted there at the moment

Lower outer ball joints cannot be pressed out and refited into a lower control arm. They can only be installed into the lower control arm once. A new OEM lower outer ball joint costs $67.00 + fitting +GST. A second hand lower arm is a second hand lower arm... You make the call.

Did you buy that kit and get a 2nd hand manifold & TB Westy ??
