You don't need to take the front pulley of an M60 to do a waterpump. You won't have to pull the engine to fit a new crank flange either. Did you know that the viscous coupling nut (32m) is a LH thread ??
-
It might also help if people knew whether it was a E30 or E36... auto or manual

Try it in a safe area without the handbrake on... if it doesnt do it , it will be the handbrake shoes moving on the unlubricated backing plates. ... you could also ring and make a time for me to have a look if you like. Kiwi535 meant 100 km.... not 100,000k. You still shouldn't have to check the wheels if they were done correctly in the first place, however it would be prudent to check the wheel bolts just in case. Torque setting should be 90 ft lbs

Does it do it with the handbrake on / off ??

I agree with Greg as well. There will be more to it. You've either impacted it or there is something else wrong to cause this.

Come on Malcolm... it's Junk Quote " In very good condition"....."The outside ring has sun damage (cracking, fading), so I have put a steering wheel cover on "....... ???? Very good should be very good

Update..... I can supply the kits
-
I told you yesterday I could get it fixed for you. I tried calling my repairer to see if he would supply the adjusters for you if you want to try to do it yourself, he's still on holiday.... would you rather I didn't bother ?.. you never Pm'd or emailed me your contact details.

You'll be needing a new or second hand rear subframe. But I think you'll find there is more to this than just the broken front diff mount. It also looks like it's been impacted (car too low ?) I'd get it professionaly checked.

Bit late now..his daughter arrives tomorrow...hope he got it sorted or got a rental.... daughters are very special -
It shows an "O" ring on the diagram and also in ETK (No9) but the part is not fitted and does not apply to a F/L or P F/L block. Clean the surface and add a liitle sealant to seal it.

Yes the outer clip that retains the calliper on the carrier in this picture
-
Try changing the wheels around temporarily, just to see if the problem still exists or try another set of wheels on the car...preferably off a car you know that tracks straight... as Ron said ..it may still be a tyre problem
-
Its quite common with cheap disc pads. The retainers break and the disc pad backing plates are not made to the correct size causing the pads to rattle in the calliper carriers. Its made worse when pads are fitted without machining or replacing the rotors.

Not sure.. I just repair them... M20's are 60km or 5 years... It will be a design requirement.. Most other cars are around a 100k with a few Euro exceptions. Ducati's are 20km -
