Hi guys, After a shifter rod for my gear box. Early e36 325i getrag with the straight bar without bends or offsets. I modified my one to fit an aftermarket shifter which didn’t have an off-set shifter. Im looking at converting to a z3 shifter now. Let me know what you have, Thanks Niroy

What are the wheels off? If they are aftermarket they may have the wrong bore size or require hubcentric locating rings?

Much kerbing on them? And how heavey are they?

was the m50 loom setup for vanos or non-vanos?

Hi guys, Just need a bit of advice on shipping a front bumper, shipping from Auckland to Rotorua. I can get quotes fine, but what should I be paying for the shipping though? I think mainfreight is around $90 while I found this website “shipmytrade.co.nz" which quote $59 pick up to drop off. Anyone tried them? Ta Niroy

To be honest dude, With limited mechanical knowledge I would be spending my money on the suspension and driveline. Make the thing handle, stop and corner well. I first started with suspension on my e36 and what a difference that made, I gained knowledge and experience after that and then tackled the engine. No point in trying to made the thing faster if it cant support it.

Are you running meyle hd ball joints? I'm around hams ATM just havnt had time to come check it out. Looks mint tho!

Also to note, keep an eye out on shipping cost. Last time i was looking at shipping in rotors from the states it was costing between $300-400NZD.

I dont believe this m sport ecu lol, bilstiens i wonder if its the yellow type with the dust cover. On ETK it says it was produced in 03-03-1992 makes it older then my 1992 325i. Thats quiet early for a coupe to be produced huh, i always thought they weren’t officially produced as coupes until 1993.

How tidy is that manual one Brent? the gf wants one which isnt to ruff. The red one looks pretty tidy, leather interior etc and i reckon i can get it for 3g.

Ive got a 18 button unit with cycle stalk but no plugs somewhere at my parents place. its untested though, was from a retrofit that i never got around to. ill pm you if i find it.

Good to see it turned out ok! I'll be interested in seeing how the performance mods turn out, might be able to convince you to make a manifold and megasquirt for me.
