Fair comment I would have put a set of standard Sedan second hand coils spring in it about $40.00 and gone from their.
-
If you like the car so much why not buy some standard springs and swap them out. Should be cheap enough to pick up and not to difficult to change over.

Now Now you key board critters don't be to harsh it got your attention. Taste wise for me no comment but you have to admire the skill to put the elephant on the bonnet as for the other item oooo my .,/><? each to his own, trying to stay politically correct and failing .

Tyres, steering geometry were discussed on here not long ago for the x5 I believe something to think on. How many owners Seven years old 207,500k nearly 30,000k a year What sort of k's Cooling system Transmission Service history According to Car jam WOF expires 02/09/2013 Was first rego NZ 06/04/2006 WC91224 BMW fans has it as X3, E83, SAV 3.0d M57N2 assembled October 2005. Is it worth it?? that is the question not my sort of vehicle just get it checked out and go from their if you are interested even if you spend 200 it's a small percentage of the total price. If you find something wrong it's a bargaining chip.

Had a problem with the right rear switch on mine after opening it I found the spring has collapsed and jammed itself so the contacts didn't work. The replacement turned out to be a spring from a ball point pen worked a treat just a thought.

[Help] Low speed steering pull + brake squealing
allan replied to Nothsa's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Have read other threads about people having brake problems like yours and they found it to be the anti rattle springs not doing it's job did they check them and use the correct lub when they worked on the car just a thought. As for the steering get a wheel alignment done by a company that know what they are doing and go from their as the steering geometry on modern cars is a balancing act plus a few unknown factors thrown in. Other's with more knowledge might chip in on this one. Best of luck and let us know what the out come is thanks. -
Upon reading this a play comes to mind A much to do about nothing then a thought Fools and their money are soon parted . The seven series is the flag ship of the fleet is it not so the list shown would be standard spec would it not and 16 grand for a 9 year old vehicle done 127,000k ?.

Hello and welcome to the forum, pic's please of your ride. What part of the country are you from?. As for a hand manual plus holder I purchased one for $20.00 odd not long ago try Ray Hellbm, Silverdale if you are in the Auckland area. Hope you are not to shocked when the dealer comes back to you with the prices for the manual etc.

Correct me if wrong the F30 was a nice distraction but when all said and dusted a devil you know is better than one you don't so the 528 is here to stay for a little while longer. All said and done you lucky bbb for having the chance to drive it around and it must have been an interesting time and many comparisons drawn. As for myself and looking at the photo's it does nothing for me it's missing that something. As well as having owned a 530i for five years , first bm as well could make me a little bias. But I would have no problem recommending the 5 series as a safe family type vehicle. That said they do have their problems and I would aim for the later 2003 models because by then all the options had become standard if I was to buy again.
