Hi one and all have joined the fray on this one just sent this to him so wait and see what reply if any I get back Hi how did you come by the price you have set for this vehicle?. The five series has taken a big hit price wise plus the k's yours has done even with it being a tourer and a sport model. Not sure where you got your info from but the SAT NAV GPS unit on E39 Japanese imports will not work in NEW Zealand without changing the Sat NAV computer. How do I know because I own one but please provide me proof of your claims The last bits a little porky but mine was from Singapore so almost correct

Looking at a 98 E36 ti that has the air bag light on. The owners had a auto sparky look at it and was told it was a common problem and easy to fix. What I would like to know is is the fault with the sensor pad, wiring connection or something else and what cost to get this repaired properly thanks for any help. Cheers Allan

Have just returned from being in Auckland for the week while their I was able to go and talk to Glen, Botany Motor Work Ltd and Ray,Hellbm. Glen thank you for taking time out from your busy schedule to talk to me over the things you did to the ti when converting it made so much more sense plus the ride in that pocket rocket of yours. Ray thank you for the time on Saturday and the options we discussed plus the parts. The door rubber fitted a treat the other is off to the painters mid week. You guys in Auckland have it so easy with people like Glen and Ray to call on. Both get the thumbs up from me. Thank you both. Cheers Allan

The cup holders on the e39 are well know for being next to useless. Do you have the lift up centre arm rest that does give you a little more space HAHA. Helps keep the car tidy with out all those nook's and cranny's. I thought that to about the brakes on mine but you put some feeling into pressing that pedal and they will haul you up dam quickly. What else have you found out about your new baby can we all see her some pictures would be nice. Cheers Allan

I have never laughed so much after reading this you lot sure can hand it out. Good on you Brook for not rising to all the barbs. On a more serious note, roses, dinner out, diamonds, nice place to stay been together one year etc etc. Just a little fishing on my part but could their be a little more to this special evening out than you are telling us all? if so best of luck if not best of luck any how and have a good time. Skating on thin ice or sailing close to the wind came to mind when I read your reply Blackie but it did make me chuckle. As for the pronunciation I use Bimmer sport for the web site. When talking to other owners it can be either Beamer or BMW depends on the conversation and person concerned. When talking to people who do not own a beamer it is BMW just my 2 cents worth. Allan.

Not sure if this has been put up before. http://www.bimmerforums.com/engine_faq.php Allan

Cannot help you with the MB but must ask what comfort level are you looking for and what e46, e39 level have you driven?. As a E39 is a comfortable car IMO not only to sit in but space wise also a seven series may be able to top it but this would depend for both cars what seating options each has. Cheers Allan
-
Andrew if you don't mind me asking what the hell were you doing to make that happen? Cheers Allan
