  1. Does anybody have a tidy ski hatch cover (boot side) for an E30??? Normally fitted on the SE models, black plastic cover with 2 big magnets to hold it open. I cracked Dads on the weekend Cheers, Allan.
  2. Opportunity is knocking I think E30's are getting to the great divide of the good, and the bad. The good ones are probably going to stay expensive, and the bad ones are going to be cheap (until you spend double what a good one costs, making a bad one into a good one ), and probably get cheaper. Maybe re-shell time? There's still good shells around - there were a LOT of E30's imported, and some are looked after, but not super desirable (320i auto), so aren't too expensive (see note above )
  3. Damn that's awesome! Looks like "The China Syndrome" car:
  4. Who told you I was smart??? You may have me confused with someone else Conveniently, it was in the Dialysis waiting room, and the crash cart is just around the corner Glad I didn't need it! The exercycle is in lots of pieces now, and the cool bits are going home for nerd projects.
  5. Or fit an alligator clip onto each wire, clip one on each nipple, and then get someone to phone the line... the initial tingle will be replaced by a strong rythmic tremor that'll make you scream (No, I didn't try it!) Not as bad as the exercycle I wrote off yesterday after it fed 115VAC at 8 Amps into me through the heart rate monitor pads. In hindsight, doing the Electrical Safety test BEFORE the functional test would have been a good idea.
  6. Then post of vid of the bedding in burnout...
  7. HAHAHA Sounds EXACTLY like he comes across. Seems he's "still driving the same car years later" Bahaha! I wonder if he realises how much energy people have to expend, when they laugh at the wanky videos and comments he makes. If Fair Go have found this page, while investigating the Ebirth Electronics saga they might work out we're not all as wanky as we're cracked up to be, though sometimes one makes up for the rest - that bit where he says he's only in it for the money should do wonders for his reputation.
  8. My bike pump will pump up my bike tyres (commuter/trail, not skinnies) to 60 PSI in about 12 pumps. The same pump will inflat my Beetle tyre to 25 PSI in about 12 minutes... If the bead isn't seated... GOOD LUCK (though I managed it once!). If it's a hand pump, single action...
  9. buy a new one - they're crap!
  10. I have a tip: move all the crap off your hoist, and do it on that
  11. MAN, that is cool! I particularly like how the fan has a "volume" control If I wasn't married, I'd probably be making arrangements for a road trip

  13. It says "Shipping from Europe" and Europe shipping is quicker than rest of world. They're probably in Poland or something - lots of ebay shops doing fibreglass reps from poland and eastern europe in general.
  14. It not shipping from the US, so it's probably affordable :-) Possibly VERY slow too, but who knows? Try it out, let us know :-)
  15. Bahahaha! On my Suzuki Cappuccino, the VIN plate had been pop riveted through the firewall, into the washer tank... but you could SEE it was there... retards! Still, at least now you can wash all the crap out from behind the liners
