Timmay y'day in his stunning Z4 M - that thing sounds incredible...
-
Texted, thank you - free bump!
-
I also made a promo vid for the Gumboot Rally guys last month - not sure why I didn't post it up here.

Update time! More carbon fiber on the way - this time for the centre console gear surround. This ended up being made-to-order from overseas, I couldn't find anyone that makes these in 4-button RHD. Also ordered a short shift kit from BMW - same as the below, and I'll replace my ZCP weighted gearknob with a carbon fiber ball (also on order). I've also ordered a whole lot of LEDs to replace pretty much all the interior & exterior lights. The first have turned up, check out the difference: They're bloody bright. And no check lights (yet..) Fun in the sun last week. Good chance to blow out the cobwebs as I haven't driven this for a while Edit: CF trim has arrived - and the fitment and quality are both spot-on! Talk to Andrey at http://carbonized-bg.com/ for your carbon needs. I have also installed the number plate LEDs. They're a nice shade of white and don't throw any codes.

These are stunning, in great condition too. GLWS!!
-
Nice, GLWS. Keen to sell the lip separately?

Hi all, I've changed my runaround so my Corolla is up for sale. This car is in very good condition (even for my picky eye). http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=763834904 Let me know if you're keen to have a look. Christian 021 832 609

Headlamps are black from factory - the depth is just enhanced with the sidelights. Brake ducts are really easy to fit - but do require a bit of a push to get to sit correctly.
-
I reckon as-is, the car looks awesome. The kidneys match the side gills & wheels; If you change these black, it'd look out-of-place without changing the rest imo.
-
Haha I've seen worse. This was from this morning in traffic. Normally average around 16-16.5 tho, this is a fresh reset.
-
Yeah they're growing on me too mate. With the stripes + clear/orange corners + black & grey, there was way too much colour going on in the front-end.
-
That grille looks good! Any shots further away?

Haven't updated this in a while - some new bits have arrived & been installed New carbon fiber steering wheel trim. Fitting it was a bit tricky, with the torx screws located behind the airbag assembly. Can do a separate write-up on this if you need. Replaced fog lights with projectors and new housings. Old vs. new: Added a set of brake duct surrounds The purists are going to hate this one. Added new black corner lights

OEM M6 Performance stripes, which I trimmed to fit my bumper. Yep got a couple of stonechips, touched up already haha Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk

Congrats!!!! Looks very nice indeed - watching keenly for more pics
-
No more decals... keeping the stripes on the front bar for now.
-
Sorry - Mitre10. They're out of stock in Onehunga FYI (I bought it all haha)

Stuck on with the stuff below. I initially used 3m double-sided adhesive, it is BAD. This stuff sticks like sh*t to a blanket. It's about $9/roll, and you need at least 2 rolls for a spoiler this size
-
Sure mate, here's a few I took when changing them over: And here's a comparison from before:
-
Gumboot Rally #2 over - and what an adventure! The car's theme came together well over the space of a few months, and went down a treat. I've picked up & installed a couple more parts since last update too, CSL brake pads & carbon fiber rear deck spoiler to match the diffuser:
-
Mint silver e36 coupe in Greenlane/One Tree Hill, sporting a matching silver Bimmersport decal on the RH rear window last night

If it helps, I'm running a set of Nitto Invo's, and won't look elsewhere. Strong grip wet & dry, plus the tread pattern Free plug for H&R springs too - they give good drop without sacrificing ride quality. Don't know anything about the seat bolster inflations - may be more cost effective to simply replace the seats? This way, you could look at some nice aftermarket ones (eg Recaro Sportsters - nom nom)

Congrats - looks awesome! Love the colour!!!
