Gumboot Rally #2 over - and what an adventure! The car's theme came together well over the space of a few months, and went down a treat. I've picked up & installed a couple more parts since last update too, CSL brake pads & carbon fiber rear deck spoiler to match the diffuser:

Mint silver e36 coupe in Greenlane/One Tree Hill, sporting a matching silver Bimmersport decal on the RH rear window last night

If it helps, I'm running a set of Nitto Invo's, and won't look elsewhere. Strong grip wet & dry, plus the tread pattern Free plug for H&R springs too - they give good drop without sacrificing ride quality. Don't know anything about the seat bolster inflations - may be more cost effective to simply replace the seats? This way, you could look at some nice aftermarket ones (eg Recaro Sportsters - nom nom)

Congrats - looks awesome! Love the colour!!!

This will be on the cards if mine ever lets go. I found a build of an s85 into a Z3M Coupe a while ago. Apparently it went pretty well.

It really depends on what you want. Size: 18-20" seem to be the common sizes. 20's looked a bit big on mine and rode hard, 19's seem to give a good balance of aesthetics & comfort. Colour: Complementary to your car colour (Assume it's red? White on red may look a bit 'plastic-y' imo) - Gunmetal may suit depending on other mods Brand: Depends on your budget & priorities - if you're only after aesthetics, you can pick up a cheap brand. If you're after less weight or guaranteed strength then this may be important. Style: We all know BBS LM is a classic style which suits the e46 m3, but do you want something a bit more extreme/stand-out? I like the multi-spoke CSL style, but am also partial to some dish. Heaps of options, have a look at google images for some inspiration

Awesome looking machine I have such a soft spot for the e60... in fact a dream of mine is to shoehorn an S85 into the e46 m3 chassis one day. That the gas mileage is worth every penny, right? Riiiiight...?

Great work, and stunning result -
Looks stunning - the wheels are awesome. Ray - where'd you source the Supersprint please? I have a family member who'd be keen as chips for one ...
-
Beauty thanks - will give them a call if the OEM ones fall through. These are the ones I'm looking to order: Also, arty shot because it came out awesome.

Cheers mate. There's more on there now, have the M Power banner on the bonnet & need to order some OEM motorsport stripes for the bumper. Sponsor decals usually come out a week or two before the event, so we'll have heaps of time to sticker up. Are you planning to have a theme?
-
Thanks mate - lots of saving & hunting for discounts on parts! Started stickering up for the theme y'day. Still waiting on some parts to arrive.

Which interior package? May be keen on door panels/centre console trim pieces. Christian 021 832 609

^^ Talent. Worthy of a like. Mod335, worth having a crack yourself mate. And order another set for shows

Thanks all - install is really easy, only took 30mins. Just gotta be careful not to destroy the standard brackets. Note: replace the standard plastic brackets with good stainless nuts & bolts or you're gonna have a bad time when someone pinches it.

Bought a carbon fiber diffuser from the states & fitted it up this week. Also fitted a black vinyl windshield banner, in prep for the upcoming rally. Most of the decals have arrived now - it's going to be a fun few days getting it ready

IMO Nissan RB or Subaru EJ have to be the best affordable Jap engines that fit the bill for mid-range noise.

Ermergerd the world's fallen over.

Just wait for the first bird sh*t. Frozen paint LOVES bird sh*t.

Yep. Also matches roof and other black parts. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk

Jah really happy with it aye. It might be a bit lighter under direct sunlight, but not really that noticeable. If anything it shows up the green in the side windows a bit more. Here's a couple of pics under different light with the rear tint removed:

Oh, that'd be right. Figured I had when I put them side-by-side. No matter, I transferred the handle (which is the only part I was after). Tristan: no CSL diffuser, yet. I'm still thinking about that one - pretty happy with the aesthetics as it is now tbh. Oh, here's some more recent pics. Lip removed for wrapping & tyres painted for theme: Lip wrapped and fitted up. Great job by Seth: Replaced last bit of chrome left:

Maybe one more bump because I'm lazy.
