There are loads of euro kits out there. Tamiya do the best quality kits imo. Though in recent years other brands have caught up. Was always put off by fujimi and aoshima as they look like sh*t once assembled and painted. Proportions all wrong especially with the e34. Have 4 euro kits in progress atm. Just waiting for the scaled down automotive paints to hurry up and be shippable to nz again.

Looks like it may have had a frontal as that bumper is not genuine M5. pretty average spec too.

Edited.

Saw it this morning. Looks as clean as in those pics. Although I'm not sold on the darker coloured wheels.

A wee update. The car has for the passed 3 weeks mostly lived at someones business who shall remain nameless getting a hole, and a crack fixed in the front bumper, followed by a full repaint of the bumper. It turns out the bumper is looking like it will need to be re prep'd and painted, as this business thought they could just repair the bumper damage, and give it a lick of paint. Would of thought any stone chips or scrapes would need to be prep'd before painting a bumper ? The broken piece below is the corner bumper covering which I have ready to install. This is an example of the corner-cutting sh*t-house workmanship done.

I think this is the one that had an underside that could be eaten of, the p/o kept it absolutely flawless. Looks mint, but wheels look a bit too dark for factory shadow chrome... could just be dirty or camera lighting.

How narrow is the driveway? In thos epics, looks like you should be able to use some of the neighbours driveway section coming in on an angle, and then going down your driveway?

Have emailed to see how many calenders can be sent in one hit. Price of Calender is 12USD. Shipping I can possibly get cheaper if I get the calenders sent to my USA address and forwarded here. Will keep you posted.

Details here : http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e39-m5-e52-z8-discussion/322354-view-order-2014-e39-m5-calendar.html A bulk order would be logical if there is enough interest.

Most definatley doing it right! Nice to see someone not afraid to give one of these appreciating classics a good workout. -
If the p/o is cutting corners on tyres, makes you think what servicing or other parts have they skimped on.

Hrmm wonder if that was the same M5 that I was in last October going around the Ring. There were a few close calls during my lap, these things have a lot of understeer driven any thing over 8/10ths around the ring.

Fuel Injectors
BreakMyWindow replied to _ethrty-Andy_'s topic in Forced Induction & Performance Tuning
My theory is that the FI's are controlled by the ECU, so the ECU, or possibly an aftermarket ecu would need to be programmed to allow the injectors to pulse shorter, or regulate their flow as per the stock injector's. Allowing more air in to the engine (cams, or adjusting cam timing) together with a re-map should definatly give it some more ponies. -
No ones snapped this one up yet? Must be the colour haha.
