  1. Welcome and congrats on the car. Looks good from what I've seen elsewhere.
  2. Welcome to the forum. Nice E30 you have there. Plenty of info on the forum about manual swaps if you use the search function and google. Good luck with your project.
  3. Thanks for the heads up Allan. Just added another E38 to the collection.. lol Bought it as another parts car. Pre facelift 750il with a lot of options. Black Nappa leather seats with picnic tables and vanity headrests, rear climate control, leather double stitched dash and center console. Will pick it up next weekend. Back to 4 again..lol
  4. Wow. Yup, have a whole lot of fun with it. Hopefully while finding a way to severely screw him over.
  5. Welcome to the forum Fred. There's a a lot of E30 knowledge to be shared around here. Pics please when you can. We all want to have a look. :-)
  6. Personally I would hate to see 20's on the E39 but thats just me. At the end of the day it's your car and you should be building it to your tastes. If you like the 20's then do it and FTW.
  7. Spent a hour this morning replacing the water hose and the rest of the day driving it for the first time in 3 months. OMG I've missed this car. Here it is sitting on the BBS's.
  8. Final piece of the puzzle arrived from Germany today. Finally.. Geez I cant wait to take it for a drive again. Been far too many months since I drove my Bimmer.
  9. Glad to see it's gone so quick and I can definitely relate to being sad to see it go. I knew this one wouldn't sit around for long.
  10. Tough call. This is a gorgeous E38 and if I was in the market for another I'd be all over this. GLWS mate.

    E36 Revival!

Good on you. I'll be watching this one progress with interest. Enjoy the process and take lots of pics.
  13. Putting the V12 back together again and knowing you've done it right when it starts first time and runs smooth. No misses.. woop woop.
  14. After 15 years we see the return of the BMW short films with Clive Owen resuming his role as The Driver. Cant wait for the first installment. For those poor unfortunates who haven't already seen them here's the originals. I almost peed myself laughing when Madonna wet her pants..lol
  15. Kind of feels that way but I still have the 750i and if another 740i comes along I may jump on it. I saw something on another forum and I'd like to do something similar. The E38 addiction is still alive and well..lol
  16. He's from Lithuania and his English was very broken. I had to help him fill out the change of ownership. I did write down the forum address and gave it to him but he didn't seem too interested. We'll see. To those in Auckland, keep an eye out and you may see it around.
  17. There she goes. END OF THREAD.

When I drove a Holden I had that little bloke pissing on Ford..lol
  19. I had the part sitting there so thought I may as well put it in. The car may potentially have a new owner tomorrow so I wanted to get that done before it was gone.
  20. Replaced this today. Old beside new.

    95 E38 740i SOLD

lol, I wish it were so Olaf. These days with the way H&S is most farmers tend to pucker up at the thought of letting someone on their land. I've been offered $2500 cash from a guy in Auckland. I'm going to take it but thought I'd make the offer at that price here as well. First up first served.
  23. The only thing wrong with this thread is that I could only hit the like button once. Thats so cool. Awesome car Sam.
