Battery drain is sorted. Rather than sit there with a amp meter and pull fuses one at a time I took a punt on it being the amp and just disconnected it and put in a fully charged battery and waited to see what would happen. A week later and the battery is still going strong. yayy, no battery drain but trying to find another amp is going to be fun(again).

Theres something special about the E38's. And I do like the torque from the V12. And being able to say V12 is kinda cool too. I would have chosen "Thomas" as a handle but then nobody would know the difference..lol

Yeah. I got the rough cold start sorted with the correct battery. But now the battery is going flat overnight. I've had both batteries(Yup, it has 2 batteries folks) checked and know they're both good so I have a parasitic battery drain. The car should go into sleep mode 16 minutes after being locked but something's staying on and drawing enough amps to flatten the battery after about 8-10 hours. I'm hoping it's going to be as simple as the Amp and not something that involves pulling out half the interior.

As I stare at that pic one thing really stands out to me. And surprisingly it's not how Gold the car is. It's how bland those wheels look. lol

I was getting a server error when at home but could access the site from work with no issues. Both on Chrome. I tried again last night at home and got the same error message. I searched for Bimmersport with google. Went to the site and bookmarked that. Now it all works as it should.

I saw this on TM this morning. A manual conversion and I'd be all over it. I wonder if they want a E38 V12?

I'm at work so cant see the pics but I do remember a White M3 with LED's by the rear seats sold at Turners in Christchurch a while back. If I recall correctly it went for about 12k and was in a pretty sorry state. I'll have a look when I get home tonight but it sounds like the same one. If they're asking 19k they would have had to do some serious work to it.

I've never seen one that colour before. Stunning looking example of an E38. I have enough already otherwise I might be tempted. GLWS.

What size wheels and tires are you running? Sometimes tracking can be caused by larger rims and tyres.

I've done the muffler delete in mine and love it but that one sounds like the cats have been deleted as well. It's a lot louder than mine.

The sunroof drains block over time and the water will seep into the car. A easy fix with a bit of weed wacker nylon.
