    E30+RX7=....?

I was up in New Plymouth on Thursday for the Mockers concert and staying at the the Waterfront Hotel. Pretty sure I saw your car making a bit of noise in Egmont st while I was out on the balcony. Cant be too many rotary E30's around NP. Still looking and sounding great.
  5. I live about 5 minutes drive outside of Wanganui. I work for the Government and the commute to work is 3.4k's. Takes a few minutes on a bad day..lol
  6. Welcome Andrew. Yup, you'll find the forum has a lot of useful information tucked away. Looking forward to seeing those pics.
  7. Hi and welcome to the forum. Yes, the SRS module can be reprogramed to your car. It's been done many times on a 7 series forum I belong to. The only reason it couldn't is if it believes it's deployed a airbag in which case said module is stuffed.. You'll just need to find someone who has the right program. INPS or something similar.
  8. Welcome to the forum. Sweet ride you have there. Really like those wheels and have wanted to see a set on a E38 for a while now. There are a few members from the Naki who will no doubt chime in. The occasional meet happens up that way too.
  9. Interesting. Would like to see them on a car myself.
  10. OMG. I thought nobody would want black contours so I just cut a set up to get the seat warmers and airbag sensor out..lol Still have a drivers seat?

    Projects at Hellbm

What are the benefits of repowering the E34 with the M54B30 which is essentially a smaller engine than the M30B35? Or am I wrong?
  12. I have one. Silver though. PM me if interested.
  13. Wow, I'm lost just looking a those pics. Thats a lot of spaghetti on the floor..
  14. Hooray. Cant wait to see it on the road Eli.

    The e39 M5 arrives

Nice find. I know your going to enjoy it. How could you not.
  16. Yup, I'll join the belated band wagon. Thanks to everyone who keeps this forum running. Hope you all had a great christmas and have a awesome new year.
  17. Funnily enough. This one was a Jap import. Which is strange on a couple of counts. If you could afford the 7 series in Japan in the 90's you were probably well off so why buy a super base spec car. Then if your importing a 7 series E38 to NZ why buy a base spec car to be a garage queen?
  18. It's looking more and more like regular post is going to still be the cheapest option. So far everything else I've looked at will be over $1200.

  20. Thanks, I'll give them a call on Monday.
  21. I've got a couple of boxes that are roughly 70cm x 70cm x 60cm and about 28 kg. I'll be needing to get them to Kansas. Just trying to find a cheaper option to get them there at present.
  22. I have to send some packages to the US but I'm looking at about $750 for shipping if I go through nzpost. I've looked at UPS or Fedex but they are about the same or more. Has anybody found a cheaper option for shipping?
  23. Just driving it at present. Getting in it after a extended period and taking a deep breath of BMW.
  24. Welcome to the forum. POst up some pics of your car when you can so we can all see what you have there.
