I'll swap my wheels & soul for yours.

Nice car, I too just picked up a 328i on Friday of last week & put 700km on it in 3 days. They're great driving cars If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back? I've some OBC bulbs, Pm me

Staggered M Contours, 17x7.5" & 17x8.5" $750 ono I've two sets and might be coerced into selling 4x8.5" all round.

It's also the issue of washing silt into riverways, it seems mundane but when every person washes their car on Saturday it has quite the inflow effect.
-
So I picked up the car yesterday, it's a "Kelleners" E36 328i, will post a progress thread tomorrow, needs some things tidied. Removed the valve cover and measured today, So confirmed for Schrick E36 M3US spec cams, both intake and exhaust ^_^

Next time I'm at Zebra parts I'll have a look, though they say there's non in stock there's atleast two. Both had interiors in very good condition. Also one had double glazed? windows, like the rear quarter had been smashed and it had another layer of thick glass under it that hadn't broken.

What I've read says no, but still haven't found an example of someone with the money to actually try. The head design is completely different between the two.
-
Cam cover will come off, calipers will come out, Schrick stamping will be looked for, lift will be measured. If lift is more than factory and there's no markings I'll be back for more advice on duration. Thanks for the suggestions, didn't even think of Schrick's factory markings.

Picking the car up sometime next week. That's gonna be the first plan of attack

Up until things don't translate well when we're dealing with German. "Abstimmung" apparently directly translates to "vote" but really means "tune". German translates REALLY poorly, especially when dealing with colloquial language on a forum.
-
So I bought a new car and there's the possibility (not holding my breath) it's got Schrick or similar cams. Is there anyone who has the knowledge / time / tools to measure the duration of the cam once I've pulled the valve cover off (assuming it looks different from factory)? Is there anyone out there with specific knowledge of German tuning companies from the 90's? Either that or I need a translator, German forums are hard to decipher

Number plate would be a great place to start. If you can't even remember that, just pickup another in the same colour haha
-
What a stunner, definitely one of the best colours. If I hadn't just bought one!
-
Mods can you move this to the right place. Thanks
-
After the title, also how much am I looking at paying from a scrapper? Have some bits, two sets of fog blanks, full m3 exhaust. Could look at swapping things.
-
@Ron can't remember but did you keep the m52 intake manifold, I seem to remember you being a firm supporter. If so, got any dyno or at the very least butt dyno numbers?
-
Why don't they look original? Are you meaning they've been put on later on or that they're fakes? I think they're the real deal but have been wrong if that's what you're meaning

Have no affiliation but this examples super clean: http://www.trademe.co.nz/923651183

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-923651183.htm Looks to be in very good condition, topped off with a set of Style 5s that look practically new

I know this is gonna be tough to ask, but does anyone know where I can find a pair of rear staggered M Contours? Looking for two 8.5 inch rears. If you know of anyone with something just lying around please let me know. Willing to spend up to $500 for something in good condition, not looking for tyres. Can also swap with a pair of 7" with cash their way if that's more incentive.

Factory m50 gasket between the head and headers, there's some improvement to be had by port matching but I didnt and it's only a daily driver so don't mind
-
Have M3 headers on my 325i E36, the M50B25tu to be exact. Actually crazy how much they change the engine, they're pricey but nothing good is cheap.
