I'm only installing the system luckily, wouldn't touch them with a 10ft pole, but the customer gets what the customer wants. No trouble shooting, no reset button, plug and play until it doesn't work for unknown reasons.

Hdmi over cat6. I hate technology.

M50 ones are a cast iron log, the M52 are tubular. Think they're stainless too? Not that its much difference

Edit, followed link.

Apparently you can hook the GPS into the car battery and it'll last indefinitely so there's always that.

While I like the idea I'm not sure how effective it'd be in a car? But seems like a great idea when it comes to keys and wallets imo. Have you looked into GPS locators? The boss has a bought a bunch for work tools. His ones were around $30 from memory. It takes a SIM card, you text it and it'll send back it's GPS coordinates that can either be entered into google maps or opened in App. Battery life was something like 2 weeks?

Damn it's been passed around a fair bit. Haha I threw the vin through the decoder before, was trying to hold off labeling it for what it really was as I haven't seen many iS models come up recently. 25% LSD and all the factory sport options

The shape is different, from memory the only part changed on the facelift is the nose panel and kidney grills, so unless you're attached to the prefacelift look you could always just buy the cone and go from there?

http://www.trademe.co.nz/799709068 Just interested to know if anyone's been in contact with this guy? I talked to him on the phone and there was a promise of getting emailed a recent compression test. Haven't had any replies for a week and after asking for the info again he replied saying its a real pain people keep asking for information, and he now isn't giving it out because he "doesn't think it's smart". Has anyone seen the details of the test? Care to share if you have?

What's your idea of cheap? Is there any damage that needs fixing? Are the parts on the car or are you looking for someone to install also?
-
BMW of days gone by would probably have a cigarette dispenser for times like that, fully automated of course.
-
This thing looks very nice for it's age, also the price is pretty unbelievable. Would love to know more details. BMW New Six, compared to this 2002 Touring I know which I'd rather.

HellBm I'll be in contact, what year did they ditch the sohc and go M50? Sorry Joker looking for manual only

I'm after an E34, Sedan or Touring. Must be manual, ks don't matter. Cheers

Damn if you were two days earlier there was one on Turners in Dunedin, 7.2k buy now, manual e46 325i 98000kms. Other than some stone chips it was in amazing condition.

Still trying to get my head around the torque, that's insane, I assume I'll be able to find more info in other threads on the engine management/ turbo it's running? So much respect!

Bought a set in that size off eBay, aluminium too. Was an Australian company and cost me $30 or so including shipping.

How petrol pumps slow their filling cycle even on non prepay. When people tell you not to use your cell on the forecourt. People who ride their clutch at the lights.

Flying along Scenic Drive out to Piha on a Thursday night and not seeing anyone on the road.
