    Kelleners 328i E36

@Ron, yeah the racks are a nice touch, really easy to put on and off too. Like you say though they really howl on the motorway, driving it with the sunroof down isn't pleasant. Can you send me a link to the engine Info you've found? Cheers Didn't realize there were wheels in nz, ill keep my ear to the ground, super keen to get a 17" set.

Nope, perfectly rational. They're things of beauty, though it's a pity that's all google spits at you when you're using keywords such as E36 Kelleners...

Thanks, hopefully the manual conversion won't be too far off, the Jatco has seen better days.
  7. Not sure about those power figures, I'm pretty sure the source for that was from an engine that had lots of supporting mods. From here though it says "E36 320, 323, 325, 328/ E34/ E39/ Z3 - +29~37ps/ 6800rpm" I assume it's just going to be similar power figures to what the US guys get when they put M3 cams in their M52s. Either way more than I was expecting

    Kelleners 328i E36

Got the car on a hoist today and checked out the underside. It's really low and scrapes in the middle when going over judder bars RIP in peace chassis rails.
  9. I've been looking for an E34 for quite some time & after a sale fell through I decided to keep my money & cert my current car (well that was the plan). Cue Montreal Blue E36. It was advertised as a "Kelleners" tuned car & my interest was piqued. The ad mentioned the car having the K1 Sport Kit, consisting of cams, ECU tuning & suspension. Needless to say I was pretty dubious, but a short test drive left me wondering. Fast forward 3 weeks & the car is now in my possession. The first thing to address was the question of it it really was what it was advertised as. So on Saturday morning I ripped off the valve cover and grabbed my digital calipers. Found it to have Schrick cams and the ECU to bear the Kelleners name. Pics can be found here So overall pretty stoked, and kinda annoyed that there's little to no information out there on Kelleners cars. I've a lead that says that the heads were ported and polished too, in time I'll have to investigate. The plan at this point is to manual convert it, transfer the LSD from my other E36 over, fix the interior headliner, fix the drivers seat recliner, look into rebuilding the shocks & replacing the exhaust and headers with M3 parts.
  10. I'll swap my wheels & soul for yours.
  11. Nice car, I too just picked up a 328i on Friday of last week & put 700km on it in 3 days. They're great driving cars If you don't mind me asking, how much did it set you back? I've some OBC bulbs, Pm me
  12. Staggered M Contours, 17x7.5" & 17x8.5" $750 ono I've two sets and might be coerced into selling 4x8.5" all round.

    Quick rant thread.

It's also the issue of washing silt into riverways, it seems mundane but when every person washes their car on Saturday it has quite the inflow effect.
  14. So I picked up the car yesterday, it's a "Kelleners" E36 328i, will post a progress thread tomorrow, needs some things tidied. Removed the valve cover and measured today, So confirmed for Schrick E36 M3US spec cams, both intake and exhaust ^_^
  15. Next time I'm at Zebra parts I'll have a look, though they say there's non in stock there's atleast two. Both had interiors in very good condition. Also one had double glazed? windows, like the rear quarter had been smashed and it had another layer of thick glass under it that hadn't broken.

    S50B32 cams

What I've read says no, but still haven't found an example of someone with the money to actually try. The head design is completely different between the two.
  17. Cam cover will come off, calipers will come out, Schrick stamping will be looked for, lift will be measured. If lift is more than factory and there's no markings I'll be back for more advice on duration. Thanks for the suggestions, didn't even think of Schrick's factory markings.
  18. Picking the car up sometime next week. That's gonna be the first plan of attack
  19. Up until things don't translate well when we're dealing with German. "Abstimmung" apparently directly translates to "vote" but really means "tune". German translates REALLY poorly, especially when dealing with colloquial language on a forum.
  20. So I bought a new car and there's the possibility (not holding my breath) it's got Schrick or similar cams. Is there anyone who has the knowledge / time / tools to measure the duration of the cam once I've pulled the valve cover off (assuming it looks different from factory)? Is there anyone out there with specific knowledge of German tuning companies from the 90's? Either that or I need a translator, German forums are hard to decipher
  21. Number plate would be a great place to start. If you can't even remember that, just pickup another in the same colour haha
  22. What a stunner, definitely one of the best colours. If I hadn't just bought one!
  23. Mods can you move this to the right place. Thanks
