    E34 M30 Turbo

Not sure about the interior nor the tail light tint, or even if the louvers are working as vents or air intakes? Sweet car though, & IMO the interview had so much more potential. The owner looked very nervous the throughout and fairly enough, if I owned it I'm not sure if I'd be letting someone drive at speed around the narrow road he was on.
  2. You just reminded me of the bottle I have in the garage, will have to test it on the BBSs this weekend. Did you try waterblasting them after application?
  3. ET13 looks good, but standard 5 series fitment works well. You'll need crappy stretched tyres - 225-40-17 on a 9" ET24 rubs like crazy even with rolled arches and pumped guards (gl working the rear arches, there's 3 converging layers in the rear arch). The fad is dead, get some 9" wide rears with standard offset and throw some 265-35-17s on them

    Getrag gearbox

After something for my 328i, have everything required for the conversion minus gearbox. Can someone help me out / point me in the direction of someone who can help?
  6. I'll put myself down for a set. Would be keen for two sets of the trailing arm reinforcements if you were to make any
  7. The set I had did the same thing, got any other photos? I'm pretty sure it's the undercoat you're seeing and the topcoat is flaking off.
  8. I've got one that I'm looking to part with (within your price bracket), pm me. 1994 325i, 160ks, manual, s50 headers.

    e36 325i Coupe Project

While they accurately show how without a tune the manifold has flaws, they don't backup their claims by giving the M52 manifold a tune also. I think for the whole thing to be fair the M52 should get a tune with the same bolt ons and then compare. If you're in Auckland I'm running an M52B28 with the same cams as you (and a tune), if you wanted a demonstration before committing either way I'd be more than happy
  14. At least give some photos of the burnt remains, assuming there's actually a car behind this story. Your mate isn't gonna get sympathy here. Should've had insurance, sh*t happens

@Ron, yeah the racks are a nice touch, really easy to put on and off too. Like you say though they really howl on the motorway, driving it with the sunroof down isn't pleasant. Can you send me a link to the engine Info you've found? Cheers Didn't realize there were wheels in nz, ill keep my ear to the ground, super keen to get a 17" set.

    Kelleners 328i E36

Nope, perfectly rational. They're things of beauty, though it's a pity that's all google spits at you when you're using keywords such as E36 Kelleners...

    Kelleners 328i E36

Thanks, hopefully the manual conversion won't be too far off, the Jatco has seen better days.
  21. Not sure about those power figures, I'm pretty sure the source for that was from an engine that had lots of supporting mods. From here though it says "E36 320, 323, 325, 328/ E34/ E39/ Z3 - +29~37ps/ 6800rpm" I assume it's just going to be similar power figures to what the US guys get when they put M3 cams in their M52s. Either way more than I was expecting

    Kelleners 328i E36

Got the car on a hoist today and checked out the underside. It's really low and scrapes in the middle when going over judder bars RIP in peace chassis rails.
  23. I've been looking for an E34 for quite some time & after a sale fell through I decided to keep my money & cert my current car (well that was the plan). Cue Montreal Blue E36. It was advertised as a "Kelleners" tuned car & my interest was piqued. The ad mentioned the car having the K1 Sport Kit, consisting of cams, ECU tuning & suspension. Needless to say I was pretty dubious, but a short test drive left me wondering. Fast forward 3 weeks & the car is now in my possession. The first thing to address was the question of it it really was what it was advertised as. So on Saturday morning I ripped off the valve cover and grabbed my digital calipers. Found it to have Schrick cams and the ECU to bear the Kelleners name. Pics can be found here So overall pretty stoked, and kinda annoyed that there's little to no information out there on Kelleners cars. I've a lead that says that the heads were ported and polished too, in time I'll have to investigate. The plan at this point is to manual convert it, transfer the LSD from my other E36 over, fix the interior headliner, fix the drivers seat recliner, look into rebuilding the shocks & replacing the exhaust and headers with M3 parts.
