These captures are from the PC version. But there is a PS4 version coming too (won't be as good but still close) Have a look through the gallery. http://www.wmdportal.com/projects/cars/

There was a guy on here who purchased the wrecked E34 3.8 M5. Have a search I don't think he sold the motor.

Sell the CSL. Buy one of these. Come join the BMW series Tom.

6:47 or something the internet is now flooded with. Much quicker than the 918 Superbeatle.

The post was from someone working at Porsche over the road from Mclaren. Somewhere on facebook to do with the recent party/event they had.

Hi Guys, Imported these wheels from VAC in the US a few months back for my E34 race car. However we have decided to stay with 17" wheels for the car now. These are specific BMW fitment. So up for sale is 4 x 18x9.5 +22 wheels in 5x120 stud pattern in satin black. These are suitable for both the road and the track. They are very light. Some of the top A and B class BMW race cars are using these wheels in the BMW race series. Here is all the tech specs on the wheels. Please read before asking questions. Aftermarket Performance EXpress or APEX for short represents designs that are the culmination of years of experience in the aftermarket parts industry and a keen eye for esthetic as well as functional beauty. Apex achieves light weight and high strength by Flow-Forming (aka Roll Forging) their wheels and creating application specific designs. This assures that wheels are light yet durable enough for the rigors of daily transportation, or the track and no spacers or centering rings are needed for most applications. The EC-7 addresses the concerns of more and more racers and track day enthusiasts: long term durability, fit and performance. With the increase of faster and heavier cars being used in racing, HPDEs, and spirited driving, the EC-7 was designed and engineered to handle extreme abuse on track and street, offer a wide range of direct fitments, while producing a lightweight wheel. Produced specifically for BMWs. The EC-7 is a performance wheels with classic mesh styling for the uncompromising BMW enthusiast that also appreciates a great value. Aftermarket suspension components, alignment, ride height, and tire size, all effect fitment. A modification to any of these variables could have a negative impact on proper fitment. The EC-7's spoke profile has been designed with a curve to provide additional caliper clearance. It can clear a BBK spacer free on applications where the ARC-8 could not. A significant improvement to the EC-7 is the increased barrel clearance that now allows certain sizes of the 18" version of this wheel to properly clear the Brembo 380mm BBK. Just like the rest of the APEX wheel line, the EC-7 is once again produced using the Flow-Forming technique. Flow-forming, which has also been called "roll forging or spin forging", produces a barrel with similar strength to that of a fully forged wheel. This significantly reduces weight in the barrel, which has the greatest impact on rotational mass. We've produced an even stronger wheel by combining the strength of the lightweight barrel with a more robust face design. The EC-7 welcomes endurance racing and potholes. Features: Specific BMW Fitment Accepts BMW Roundel Center Caps Each Wheel Includes APEX Stylized Centercaps Hub Centric Like OEM Super Light Yet Strong Flow-Formed Construction Accepts Stock TPMS Sensors Accepts Factory Lug Bolts and Stud Conversion Kits High Quality Finishes: Race Silver Anthracite Satin Black Specifications: Size: 18x9.5” Offset: ET 22 Center Bore: hub-centric 72.6mm PCD: 5x120 21.75 lbs Priced Individually Profile 3 Fits 3 series and Z fitment I am after what these wheels cost me including GST and shipping to NZ. Save yourself the hassle. $2000ono brand new in their boxes. Can organise delivery anywhere in NZ. Send me a PM on here. Post in this thread or just give me a call. GT6 is much worse than Forza 5 for micro transactions. There is even a car you can buy that costs more than the game in GT6. Only a handful of cars are "Premium". The rest are ports from older GT games. Is good having so many cars. But there really is a ton of crap cars in the game with many good ones missing. Agree with Graham that the AI is still very weak. Prefer the Forza AI. Played both for a few hours each. And came to the conclusion that I don't want either. Will wait for Project Cars instead. Which is multi platform BTW. So PC version for me.

Adds wide body kit. But for sTanCE not race prep.

Looking at a 2000 728i anything I should pay particular

Just make sure it is not from Singapore. If it is walk away. Make sure all the windows still work. E38's are notorious for faulty rear windows. The stereo system in the car is all integrated. If they have changed this out for a cheap head deck you may find most of the speakers no longer work. At 200K the underpowered motor could be getting tired. -
I was going to do this as a E36 race car. Was just going to go dry sump. Around $4K to $5K for a race worthy set up. Thank god that car fell through though. One other car in the series lunched a number of M62's. They just can't handle the high revs.

Have a staggered set on my race car. No covers though. Think Milan got them for bugger all. Staggered sets are worth quite a bit in the US too. I am trying to locate another staggered set but they are not easy to find. Most are just 17X8 all round which are worth much less. The 16" reps in that first link are worth stuff all. Not even sure what the other wheels are in the 2nd link. Not BMW though.

I saw a thing like this for the 5 series and Lindsay Lohan. E28 and E34 she looked great. E39 onwards she looked like a horrid troll. Dead on imo.

It looks like he is trying to make his money back for all the items. But could be fun with some of the hard stuff already done. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/specialist-cars/competition-cars/auction-671261525.htm Though he does want $3700 for the gearbox. Something you can get from ebay to your door in NZ for less than 2K.

New owners of the cars purchased in NZ are being told apparently. I think it was 6:47 or 6:48 on the rubber the car comes with. And 6:3?? on race tyres (prob semis). The amount of down force this car produces is insane. So awesome.
-
Yup just don't get attached to it. You should get near that for parts if it ever did go bang. Good score.
-
$2700. Nice buy. That's the exact amount of my last bill for my old 540 E39. Was just looking at an old invoice yesterday thinking I am so glad I got rid of it. My one was a money pit.
-
Ah yes someone had posted this. Good. Was wondering why the hell nobody had posted in. Made me think the forum might be full of hard parkers or something lame.

Most should have already seen this. But just in case you are not a real petrol head or just don't read the "Other Cars" section of the forum. http://youtu.be/E9IWiTpWeiM

Moved to vid section.

So much bad on one car.

Yeah would much rather an E34 over an E39. My E39 540 was a money pit. And not the enjoyable kind of money pit like a race car. Will get my hands on a hand built M5 E34 at some stage. But where as someone would throw money at the No.1. I will look for a 3.8 in mint condition. Not the best I have seen on there recently. But is what I would be after. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-M5-3-8-346BHP-1992-Left-Hand-Drive-LHD-/291001975252?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item43c111c1d4

Good point! Could be lies!

Don't bother with the North Shore unless you will be working this side. Issue is The Bridge. One massive bottle neck every morning without fail. Though the Shore has been my favourite area by far for living. East Auckland a distant 2nd.
-
Not really. If it is number 1 I still don't feel it is worth 300% what a better 3.8 version would cost. Maybe if it was all original. Should add that Bimmerforums seems to suggest the motor is well used if you know what I mean.

Asking way too much though. You could pick one up out of Germany for less than half that. Seen 3.8 M5 Sedans at around 10K GBP over the last few months.
