There is a track day every other weekend at our various tracks. And most of them do not require you to be a member of any registered car club. As said above Pukekohe which is the track near Auckland holds their own open to anyone days every fortnight. And is only $90 for the day. Taupo is a little more strict. But they even allow private unregistered groups to hire their track. E.g. GTR-elite.com which is NZ's biggest Skyline GTR group was able to hire Taupo with relative ease. Hampton Downs has also invited pretty much everyone to race on their new track which is due to open very soon. I think your only avenue would be to create track days for the euro elite. But I am pretty sure there is a few companies doing this already. Let bimmersport know if you do decide to hold them. As there won't be anyone here who would complain about another track day to thrash their Bmw at. haha.

Hey cheers guys. I would be out having a few but I am not allowed at the moment. Silly kidneys. Yeah I quite often get my Birthday on Easter Weekend. Have had in on Easter Day a few times which sux if you want to go to the pub. Just have to remember to buy your booze on the Saturday. It's funny. No matter how old you get you never stop having fun doing burnouts.

Some people have incorperated a scraper into their baffle. Think it would be a good addition to your car though dave. Design is already done. Some of the baffles are a bit hit and miss.
-
Now that so many phones have wifi I would have thought these kiosks would have been used less and less. Every Airport I have been in has had free Wifi. Well bar Heathrow. But that airport sux. Changi is my favourite. Has quite private kiosk things. Also and area where you can setup your laptop. Even plug in your ethernet cable. Also has a sweet area full of Xbox 360's up by Burger King.

Same thing. For $200 you can no go wrong. My basic baffle cost that much. Well there is people running these built into their sumps in the E30 series. But could you consider this just a saftey feature? I guess so. I would say it is more of a saftey increase than a power increase in a series car.
-
People have seen results in the E30 Series. But I dont think they are meant to be running them.
-
Have heard of slight power gains also. There is a few different ways you can go about it. Modifying your sump or using a sandwich plate styled one. I think to get your sump done at Race FX it was around $450+. But we spotted the sandwich plates for less than half that. Only ever seen them for the M20 though.

All the ones I have used were designed for midgets too. I am dead on 6ft. Something with at least an adjustible screen.

Yeah my engineering teacher at Macleans was hell bent most days. Example. I failed 5th form engineering. I got 42% or something. (Spent most of the time playing N64) He let me look through my paperwork. I got a different colored pen. Scribbled out the 42% and wrote 56%. He never noticed and I passed School Cert Engineering. lol.

I am with you on this. Never heard of it till now. Ahhh. I see why. It is a musician of some sort. Is not Haraki music.

Looks way better than the orange ones. But how come you didn't go for the facelift lights? Are they too expensive or something? I have them in my 540. Non HID ones. I didn't install them though so not sure how hard it is.

Alleged BMW road rage attack leaves van driver critical
Driftit replied to HELLBM's topic in General Discussion
Haha I saw that on Stuff.co.nz this morn. And it said nothing about any BMW. Better watch your tempers guys. According to the Herald BMW drivers have a short fuse. -
Am after something similar to this. But the yanks list the items at very low prices then charge nearly double for shipping. Something that should be $120NZD ends up costing $400+NZD which is a joke. Is there anywhere in NZ that I can get something like this? They have to have facelift stuff. Only stuff I have found so far is for the 95-00 bumpers. I need 01-03 stuff.

Motul RBF600 and RBF660 is only about $25 from BNT for a 1ltr. Should be all you need for a full flush. 2 ltrs just incase. I use this in my series car. And have never had it overheat etc.. Even with shitty pads it was still fine. Motul, Pentrite, Lucas all come from the same factory. Infact I think Castrol is the only one that has their own design at the moment. Many of the series guys also use the castrol stuff. BTW dont go to race brakes. They sell the same RBF600 fluid for double the price of BNT. Good advice. Crazy prices!

I wish I wasn't so lazy. Like Bravo, I am more likely to repaint the car. Haha.
-
What a shame it didn't. Story would have read so much better if the filth doing the runner were badly injured from their antics.
-
Yeah might have to give that another watch. Have not seen that in many many years.

sh*t that cat is annoying.

Awesome cheers Ray will ring you today to get this under way. Trust me Cliff. You dont want ABS from a Mid 80's car. I have spent about $600 trying to hunt down the problem.
-
I want to remove my troublesome ABS system from my 325. I have been trying to track down it's problems for weeks now and it has cost me the sale of the car. I managed to get the ABS light to stay off. But now when I try and brake at over about 50kph the pedal goes hard as a rock and pretty much stops you from braking. Bloody scary too. ABS light does not come on now. So instead of wasting more money on hunting down the gremlin I am going to ditch it all together. Does anyone have a list of what is required? And what lines do I need to change?

Jump the fence and drive out. Most places like this just have a code or key to get in and a magnetic sensor to let you out.

Haha the real life version
-
Haha I remember it being massive. My friend had a room just for it. Single Child Jap Kid. Bottem left of the pic. 7 1/2 feet long! Woh!

I also had a crapload of Matchbox cars. And I never liked the Hotwheels due to the rear wheels being bigger than the front. I have a briefcase Gas Station (is quite big) for matchbox cars. One of my favourites as a kid. But I love my little Mini Z more. But I was into GI Joes more than anything. I had a ton of them. I still have the HUGE Chinook and Forward Sweep Wing Jet somewhere. Also Lego was big for me. I have that huge Pirate ship still. Was a bit spoilt as a kid as my brother and sister were twins and 8 years yonger. So I did not get much attention. I am not complaining. lol Almost forgot about Mirco Machines!! Wonder where mine are. Toys were so much better back in the 80's. Quality was 10X better. Toys these days are a joke. I always wanted this. The Gigantic GI Joe Aircraft Carrier. A Japanese friend of mine had it.

Yeah thats the one. Obviously that info was just presumed. Not factual. As I am sure there has been many other crashes similar. Here is a good one. Not as fast but he survives.
