We really should organise to ship all our FCP orders together though. Or could that get us picked up.
-
There was a Silver one recently too. Told it was the same guy.
-
Ah yeah. See you guys are speaking road car stuff. I know nothing of it.
-
Was that a white one a few months back? We asked the guy multiple times for the engineers report and he refused to give it. Was some wank just trying to sell it without disclosing it was a write off. I informed him of his legal responsibility and that he would be liable for up to 7 years after the sale. He blocked me. Hope he gets sh*t on.

You saved yourself right there. Haha. 535is has much more potential too.

WANTED. A specific car that is in prefect condition for less than market price.
-
Welcome. I have the same car in white too. Been great for the last 6 months.

Can everyone stop buying houses so I can buy one and have somewhere to put cars like this I want to buy? Good luck with the sale. Great base for a race car or road car.

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?

15" and 16" is the sweet spot on E30's for me. 17" on a race car looks the best though. Like the DTM E30's. Mmmmmm. -
Will keep an eye open for that one. As you know the wheels on this E87 are fun to clean.

Just an idea. When I was importing damaged cars from Japan back in the the late 90's early 2000's. Vandalism also could mean stolen and recovered. I purchased a number of 90's sports cars that were recovered. Some just had lots of missing parts. Some had been kicked in/keyed/broken windows. E.g. vandalized. The biggest concern there would be how the vehicle was treated. One car I had turned up with big end bearing knock. It had been thrashed to within an inch of its life. But hey it could still roll on/roll off the ship and was driving.... I had some words with my agent when that arrived.

Outside of panel beaters I am yet to see anyone make money from these Aussie write offs. There is always more than meets the eye. How good is the repair? And who did the repair? Those are defiantly questions I would want answered.

I have to say. I miss being able to buy the extra large size Maguires from Costco. I got a 4 liter was for $12..
-
How many washes did you get out of the wheel cleaner? I had the Luxxio one and it was only about 10-12 washes.

Flood damaged vehicles are marked as such at the boarder now days.

I got my 15x8 BBS RG003's for $400. $2k for some shitty weaves. Nope. -
I tend to try and avoid Supercheap these days. They are no longer cheap. They are flogging off utter sh*t for crazy prices. Especially any of their rubbish quality SCA electrical stuff. Where you might save a few bucks on consumables like car wash. They will rip you off on items that should be far cheaper. Take advantage of their oil sales though.

Ford. You are not good at picking vehicles. Avoid at all costs. Especially the Ranger.

Have a search. There was another post with the same issues. Ended up being the ccv valve. I had these issues with my old E46. Ended up being a missing blanking cap on the back of the intake manifold. When I put a new one on I found it had been purposely removed to stop the ccv from functioning. (sh*t mechanics trick). Ccv was stuffed. Replaced that too and away I went. No more codes. Also the manifold can crack. The gasket between the manifold and throttle can perish.

I think I will ask.

It was quite an experience. And there is still one of my plates out there somewhere.
-
I'm not allowed this time sorry.

One sold in the UK a while back for more than £60K. Only had around 15K miles on the clock though. But it is silly for what is just an E30 with some nice clothes. Glad I had fun in the E30's while the prices allowed you to have fun in them. If your E30 sits in the garage you're doing it wrong. (Unless it doesn't go. Jon.) -
Pro tip. Don't sell the car with the plates on the premise you will have the new owner send them to you once he gets home. You may end up having to inform a quite obvious P dealer that the plates are not his and are worthless to him. And that the guy whom he made a favorable trade with for his goods ripped him off.
