Really? can you back this? I have dealt with both types and from what ive seen the xyz's are much better not only in quality but looks, adjustment, etc, and you can specify whatever spring rates you want.

Why would you need to? the xyz's will more than handle what you require them for.

yes getrag 260, it will bolt up. however you may need to run an e30 clutch and flywheel, the mount position will be slightly different so will need to modify the mount and you may/may not need an e30 driveshaft. I have only done this when putting a m5x in an e30 body and that was a while ago, someone more qualified on the subject may be able to clarify.

getrag what? 240? 250? 260? 240 and 260 will bolt up but due to the motor lean they will need a revised gearbox mount, i believe 250 is the correct one, the numbers are usually on the back around the output shaft.

if you cant make it line up any other way do what you did with the nylon washers, when it sits flat, remove the rubber seal strip and put some string or something of the sort inside it to make that sit slightly higher aswell.

Hey guys, i need a front valance/lip bit for the race car, it needs to be a standard pre facelift valance, and it is not the type with the little grille bit in, it is the other one. I have attached a picture of the one i currently have, it is the wrong one, the mounting screws are in different places and this one is longer so protrudes into the front wheel area. Cheers Oli
