Yep def an XR6, could hear that lazy lump getting spanked as he roared past. He thought that coming down an off ramp and traveling against traffic on the wrong side of a wire rope median was a neat trick to pull. Made no effort to avoid us or brake for the roundabout so I'm guessing drunk. I put the pic here and not in the quick rant thread coz I'm just glad not to be more involved

Had a very narrow escape from this guy on Saturday. Just managed to avoid being hit head on about 3 seconds before he went through a raised roundabout and performed some kind of spinning somersault. Trying to do a runner from the po-po, I estimated his speed at above 130.

Crikey. A 7 (7!!!) year old car committing seppuku like this... Why oh why do people buy them? No disrespect to the owner here, but the horror stories must surely be well known by now. Inadequate maintenance was mentioned before in reference to a different engine, I think we can all accept by now this series of engine is going to explode no matter how it is treated. Makes it embarrassing to be a BMW nut sometimes.

Level 100 is when you get them to pay for new 20'' tyres, to pass a WOF, to get to a job interview, in your VE Comodore. Seen it happen!

Very much a tongue in cheek comment, I love how Meyle parts are often vandalised to hide the genuine stamps and then sold for much less in a Meyle box. Did a similar job with a 6'' nail bent at right angles once.

I see your problem with the flange- you aren't replacing it with a genuine part! ? the joys of old German plastic...
