1er owners- the ones who buy them new ie, the ones who matter to the company- don't know they have been buying RWD. If they DGAF then there isn't much incentive to keep selling them a more expensive to produce RWD platform. It's sole redeeming feature is that because it is a small car they couldn't fit those bloody stupid enormous grills they are ruining the rest of their lineup with.

Owners of these engines worldwide are finding this is a feature of the engine... an "easter egg", if you will. I suspect the quote is on the money, no personal experience but I know that it is a very involved job. The oil leaks are generic to most BMWs.

We own BMWs though. Only Toyota drivers have spare time to cook- we are all in the garage chasing oil leaks!

It works out better for everyone if I stay out the kitchen.

Thanks Allan, she's a beaut. Drove it home without doing the rocker cover- raining too much- and it didn't catch fire so I'll chalk that up as a win. The B25 makes okay power, but with the manual there's all this torque available that is completely missing in auto. Now... who knows anything about RB swaps? Also, do 22z fit? Chur!

When you are trying to get to hospital in a hurry because you have a 3 year old in the back bleeding heavily from a head wound inflicted by loosing a fight with the coffee table... and the dick in the "fast lane" won't get out the way because 100km/h is plenty and they are determined to make sure everybody else knows it, no matter how much you honk and high beam them Seriously if you are on the main thoroughfare to the local hospital, just get out the f**king way.

Max you wally ?VRSF deals with modern boosted 3ers, not your old V8 dinosaur ?much as I prefer said dinosaur... The easy solution you are looking for is your local BMW dealer. You want quality bits on your top dollar car, don't you? Couple of hundred and you are away laughing.

Risky call... insure it so the freighter will replace it when it is inevitably dropkicked from the top cargo hold to the runway from a 787?
