  1. I heard you got tired of V8 torque and want VTEC now?
  2. Just hit it with some sandpaper bro
  3. I just wouldn't buy it coz then I'd have to look at it. Plenty of car for the money though! EDIT- Michael should buy it for the engine
  4. Z4M would avoid all of the above pitfalls and negate any talk of engine transplants. Plus, they look tits. Of course, winning Lotto might also be helpful.
  5. I'd say the seller is an idiot AND confused, even my Mrs can tell an E30 from an E36
  6. What you're hearing is probably the car protesting at being Toyota powered, Michael.
  7. Interesting what KwS says, I got a car from these guys a few months ago and they were very helpful, I have no complaints about them.
  8. I remember MoJoJoe looking at this a while back and thinking "What a con"
  9. Please note: I am unable to confirm if it does "phat skidz" or if it "goes hard gee". Backwards cap wearers will likely be gently turned away
  10. 1989 320, registered as 1990, a touch over 357,000km Pros -manual -engine has been well run in -no aftermarket bits -extensive (and expensive) service history -rego til 13/7/15 -WOF til June -sunroof -towbar -very, very minor rust. She's in good nick. -two sets of keys Cons -dented front passenger guard -indicator doesn't self cancel -shifter bushings tired -radio doesn't pick up signal or play cassettes -lower front lip missing -minor scuffing to bumpers- I think previous owners literally parked by feel -about 4 cracks on dash, nothing major I bought this car intending to lavish it with TLC but reality has prevailed. Makes an excellent runabout, happy as larry driving from Wairarapa to Auckland, cruises well. Yes the photos are from TradeMe but I only got the car recently and it looks the same. We are about 15 min south of Te Puke, car is often in Tauranga. Looking for $2000, cheers.
  11. Clearly a waste of time when, from the same dealer, the same money will get you an Accord Euro R. Or a Figaro Turbo plus change...
  12. ^^^ empirical evidence that Ray is The Man.
  13. Looks like you're winning! I guess this just shows how bad ti's really are Quite stoked for you that this seems to have worked out, long may it continue. PS do a skid
  14. Haha pretty easy to see that ending badly! Nah as far as I'm concerned these things are pretty as long as they stay below 1/2 a meter tall, after that they can piss off.
  15. Welcome bud, TradeMe has been awash with nice looking cabs lately- go nuts!
  16. Sheepskin grandpa-spec E30 ftw!
  17. The last ones that size I pulled out involved a ute and a length of chain. Hope you had as much fun as I did!
  18. Ask around for prices. Repco or Supercheap auto are generally the most expensive places you can go.
  19. Clinton... are you a glutton for punishment?
  20. Its got full history so take it for a burn and see what you think. I see no reason to distrust a high mileage car that's been looked after well.
  21. Yeah boys love talking about how we deal with our nuts... The angel eyes look good, btw, quite an improvement
  22. Fantastic. I'm picking this thing to be a future classic.
  23. Really random stupid part, got cap for the brake reservoir? Mines perished.
