Good on you for tackling such a pain in the butt job. Just bear in mind that using a black fabric will make the cabin a very dark place to be- looks sweet during the day, but everything will look super dark at night and you'll find it pretty hard to see around the cabin with the factory lighting- I used black suede and found this. The grey was ugly but boy was it good at bouncing the light around

Switch pops out easy as, if you don't have fingernails just use a screwdriver to pop the edge. Sounds like you need a new switch. As for the cluster question- I'm sure you can separate the plastic cover off the front, once you have removed the cluster unit from the dash. Then you can attack whatever it is that's peeling. I believe the cluster carries its own memory so any replacement will have to be reprogrammed.

Just out of interest- what needed fixing after its run-in with that 5GT?

Skids Have to agree re: better than sh1t brand tyres though. Had some almost entirely bald RE01-R (literally only had the two centre grooves remaining) which were better in the rain than some near new Sava Intensas

Yep Avus Blue still looks good, even with its face smooshed in. Interesting to see they were both South African

The only part I don't hate is the rear diffuser. Think you can def do better
