Mods can we please suspend the account of OP as he has clearly been hacked, cheers. Ha in all fairness though the wifes parents have a housebus, some modern Hino thing, and its not too bad. About $50k, I think.

There are others still there. I'm amazed at how expensive they are.

There's enough room.

Is that like when Obelix is "polite" to the Romans? -

-
Yeah, nah.

My last E36 was a 92 325 and had done over 300km when I bought it, engine was mint as, it was manual and gearbox was as solid as too. My E30 has done 350km and the engine and box are great too. Both came from people who had looked after them, so I think the lesson is- look after your car, and it will look after you. I'm pretty sure somebody on here has that as their signature... Dad uses a Crayola to commute with, has well over 550km on the clock, but it's only good features are reliability and fuel consumption. If I end up in hell when I'm dead, I fully expect to be handed a Corolla and told, "Go for a drive."

My olds live just outside Eketahuna, they reckon no damage. Interesting to hear reports of damage from Palmy and Masterton tho. Also interesting on GeoNet, all NZ volcanos had a spike in activity around the time of this quake.

Its $4500 no reserve so just chuck that much on it, get it home, and do the cooling system and all fluids etc. Wont cost much, its manual- and room left in the budget for diff etc. 1 Buy E36 2 Empty wallet 3 Winning And to the poor deluded fools talking about the extra torque of their V8, this is a guy who was happy with his ditch sweeping 318, remember

Whats "Edition ZV"?

lol at the 540s, I'd have to say I'm more sold on the 530 http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=686711679 looks preeeety mint for the km http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=681894319 less km but worse photography haha

Whats this nonsense, the roof is suede!!! The door cards haven't been recovered because suede has no stretch and I haven't found any stretch fabric to do them with yet. Furthermore, silver will stick out better so people can see you in the ditch
-
^^^ sounds like the way to go. I did a whole bunch of light coats, and it only hardened the fabric a little bit. I'm really not sure how well alacantara will react.

This one looks primo http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=684879016

Glad to hear you are ok! Am thinking about going down the E39 road because we will be starting a family shortly, so it's always good to hear how well these cars crash
-
Grey E36 is a good starting point. LSD is not an important consideration to me, because M suspension costs so much more Edit: spelling

That 325is is just weird. Am I the first to notice it left the factory as a left hand drive?

^^^^^ See Blue, he's starting to crack. As I predicted, the Citroen isn't far away now
