  2. Jesus... the E30 market is nuts at the moment.
  3. Short answer, it's an E38. And with yours being modified it's probably been owned by a lot of people who bought it (most likely on finance) because it was cheap, and it was a "pimpin gangster" BMW. Then when it came to ownership and maintenance costs they all realised they couldn't afford it so flicked it on.

Well, this thread is going nowhere. OP, it seems you and technology don't get along. But that doesn't mean you need to swear at people on the internet about it. Try smiling sometime, you might enjoy it. Thread closed.
  5. As per the forum rules, please post an accurate description of the item, photos and a clear price... no 'offers'. I won't close this, but please fix your original post ASAP. Cheers.
  6. Mate, this is a car forum for selling cars and car-related items. A busted laptop doesn't fit those parameters. Trademe is only a click away.

Just put it on Trademe for $1 reserve.... you'll get more than a grand for it.
  8. Just watched the latest episode with the "Hovervan"... VERY funny.

    Mark's E34 project

Had a crack at cleaning the leather using the Lux Soap flakes method used by CSET and central3. Turned out great. Before After

Looks fantastic. How do you apply the soap flakes / water mix... just with a cloth? Might give this a go on the E34's shiny leather.
  12. OP's sarcasm meter is off the charts
  13. Hondafit, you've just posted a thread which I removed which said you wanted to buy a "BMW sports" for under $30k Now you're trying to negotiate a price of $2500 on an old E30... what gives? Also most of your other posts are pointless rubbish. Either start contributing to the forum properly or I'll get admin to remove your account.
  14. This is a really old thread, Johnno (zenetti) no longer works for this company so you won't get a reply.
  15. Doesn't make sense that an engine with just 120km's on it would have significant camlobe wear?
  16. A camgrind will cost you around $400... an aftermarket cam like a Shrick $600 - 800 (last time I looked years ago) Might almost be cheaper throwing a whole second hand engine in... obviously once the cam is worn you're likely to run into other things that need doing, valve springs / valve seats / lapping etc etc.
  17. Josh has it spot on. Rears look boss... less width on the front tyres and it'll be perfect. Love the colour combo, very clean. Well done, good to see the wheels finally on after first seeing them in your boot at a meet about a year ago now!

Fake brembo caliper covers? Really!? Thought this project was going in a good direction, but now with this along with you having to be talked out of Kingstars I'm not so sure. Don't be a ricer... Just be patient and do things properly.

    Quick Questions

PM Josh (hybrid), he has done it.
  21. Sam sold Will another car... not E30V8
  22. Riley doesn't own the V8 E30 now... it's owned by a guy named Will This guy http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index.php?showuser=6664
  23. E34's generally look like they're jacked up in the front, but that's due to the shape of the arches. The car should still sit level on a flat surface. As for the paint issue, I guess the easiest way to tell if it's had a respray would be pulling off a door card to see what colour it is on the inside of the door. However, if they've gone to the trouble of spraying door jambs / underbonnet etc, then why would they mask around a paint code sticker? Maybe someone has replaced the sticker but just got the colour name wrong. Looks like a good buy though. Make sure you do cooling system maintenance to if you haven't already. Jatco jerk will probably be terminal, but as long as it's not flaring during changes yet it will probably last a while.
