Yeah, when you fill out that "disposing/selling of a motor vehicle form" you write down your address and the new owners contact details so they get reminder notices to say they need to pay the change of ownership and rego etc. You can do this online if you have the guys name and address... NZTA

Thanks Andy, will take a look at that... It's now not starting at all, will crank and then make sort of a clunk sound and stop cranking. The fuel pump is no longer whirring with the ignition on now either. Combination of issues? If it was just the fuel pump it would continue to crank just not fire right?

Started the E34 for the first time in a few weeks, took two goes to start then sputtered to life. Was idling OK but when I took it for a spin around the block it was hesitating / shuddering badly when under mid-full throttle. If I feather the throttle it will spin through the rev range with no problems, it's only when I put my foot down that it starts to hesitate and shudder. What's the issue? Fuel pump on the way out / fuel filter blocked?

Just buy another whole boot with surround, the plastic bit is glued on so I don't think it's sold as a separate part.

318i Turbo I first dismissed this as someone with no idea what they're talking about, but then there's this photo included on the listing... Is this something that someone has just made up and put on Jerry Clayton letterhead, or was there actually a factory turbo kit offered??? Seems a bit far fetched but perhaps someone can shed more light on it.

My old E30 which had a mint Recaro interior, rare AC Schnitzer prefacelift kit, genuine RS001's, uprated suspension and a fully rebuilt M20 sold for $7250. I've seen, mint Tech I M325i's sell for less than this too... might pay to lower your sights slightly. If you sell it for this though, I will eat humble pie and tip my hat to you.

Your battery is poked. You can jumpstart it, but it won't start again on its own because it won't hold a charge. Time to call the AA or drive to your nearest place that sells batteries.
