You need a strong adhesive like Gorilla glue or in my case I used Liquid nails. What exactly is wrong with your door cards? Have the mounts for the clips fallen off? Is the doorcard itself broken or ripped?

Pics need to be 800x600 or less.

Yeah, was most likely me... taking it out for it's weekly Sunday drive

Have just replaced this on my M42 car. Was told to buy new as all used ones are old and perished these days. Was $68 new from BMW... not too bad. Also, while you've got the pipe off, give the throttle body a good clean with some throttle body cleaner to get rid of the carbon build-up.

How much was it if you don't mind me asking?

No need to post every single BMW that shows up on Trademe... we're all pretty avid TM watchers and see most of these cars. If you have a genuine question about a car and you want to buy it then by all means post it up... but otherwise all these threads (I count 31 of them from you) are just the equivalent of internet tyre-kicking. Cheers.

About to do this on the Ti... oh joy.

^^ It's a whole different car from the firewall forward.

Yep, definitely the same car. Boom! found the old post: http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....rt=#entry272525

I am pretty sure this is the "cut n shut" car that was talked about on the forums a few years ago. Story was that Atta (crazyarab) wanted to buy it, so took it for an inspection. He was told the whole front end was from a different car. Then the owner sold it to Archibald Barr (the used car dealership). It is very tidy... but it's two different cars (I'm 90% sure). I'll do a search and find out if this is totally true, or if I have a bad memory and have this confused with another car.

"New D1 spec oil cap" f**k me... sold!!!

Stablemates cleaned and parked up for the night.

Pretty sure it was OP6's white E21 323i I saw parked outside Jeff Gray CHCH yesterday... I was in picking up some parts for the E36.

Swap out the steering wheel and gearknob for stock items. Change the wheels to basketweaves, put stock taillights and indicators back on. Then put all the maintenance stuff (cambelt, water pump etc) at the top of your listing and leave out any "mods" as such. Might be too much effort for you, but IMO it's factory-looking cars that pique my interest the most. The way it looks currently kind of makes it look like it's been thrashed. (Boy racer bla bla, not saying you are or anything) I'd say you'll get more $$$ the more stock you can make it look.

Bit of light detailing. Found enough dog hair in this thing to make a whole new dog.

Just bought this today for the GF to replace her MX5. Needs a few things doing (headlining, door cards, idle issue) but otherwise it's pretty tidy.

Got to take this for a spin today. 2007 Shelby Mustang GT. 5 speed manual. Oh so much fun and what a noise! I'm taking the photo, that's my workmate with the stupid grin on his face - I had a similar one on mine.

Thanks Gaz, yeah popped down yesterday to have a look at that one. Has the usual issues... headlining sagging, doorcards falling off, rear shock mounts probably need doing, dodgy idle, few scrapes and dents and paint needs a good polish but it seems solid enough. Will probably put a bid on it. Could be keen on the kit too, will let you know if I have any change left over.

Not OP's car. Thankfully he is trolling.

Can you send me some pics please Brent?
-
Cheers for that, thanks also for the link to the Simon and Garfunkel album. How did you know I was a fan? Have seen most stuff on Trademe though, perhaps someone has a car they're thinking of listing and wants to avoid TM fees?

Looking for a tidy 318ti for the girlfriend. Would prefer Motorsport optioned car, but will consider a nicely presented standard model. Budget is $4k. Cheers!
