Convertible with the rare side mounted badge option
Mark replied to Palazzo's topic in TradeMe discussions
Was listed not long ago on TM. Seems to be a bit of a bits and pieces car. Tech II kit and smileys but prefacelift taillights. -
OK boys, this thread has run it's course. 3 pages to answer one question? At least we now know the way to get an answer around here. Better warn admin that we'll be expecting an influx of new "female" members.

Asked _Matt_ to come over to fix some dodgy headlight wiring on the E30. He fixed it and went home and then I had a beer. Productive afternoon.

Standard four door E30 with terrible TSW 17" wheels? So rare. Much want. Although I suppose the intern writer assigned to the story "Jenny Ling" knows nothing about BMW's so just took they guy's word for it.

Sunday Activity: Post Photo of your BMW as it sits now

Sitting in the garage waiting patiently to be driven. -
Yeah, you can't link to an email. Not sure what you're posting, but if it's pictures you'll need to upload them as attachments, or host them on an image hosting site and link the URLS in your post.

How rusty is it? When I painted my pf/l bumpers the rear one had quite a bit of surface corrosion on the inside, but a scrape with a wire brush, a bit of rust-kill and then a liberal coating of fish oil and it was fine.

Nice work, hows the pedal feel? I've got new pads, rotors and braided lines in my E30 but still the typical spongy brake pedal. Next step is looking into a 750i master cylinder conversion.

Sold... sad to see it go, was a great car. Garage feels a bit empty now.

Old douche nozzle is back on TM with this car for sale again http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/540is/auction-693229260.htm

Don't look real to me. Genuine Type II's have a flatter face to the spokes and the spokes extend more to the edge of the rim. Like this:

^ The "fuel filler door delete" was a popular factory option to reduce weight and also time filling up at the pump.

Sold

From that VIN it's a facelift Alpine White 318i four door, manual. So, not specified with any motorsport bits from factory, but doesn't mean it doesn't have any. You'll need to put up a pic to confirm.

Still for sale.

^ Buyer of the E34 gets the original SE wheel that came with the car.

Have taken this off my E34 now that I'm selling it. Details on TM here: http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=692181316&ed=true

Parked them side by side in the garage to get acquainted.

Then sell your M325i Dan and buy my E34! In Auckland.
-
P.S: Have dropped price on the E34 to $6000.

The guy I sold it to emailed me and said he was selling and could he please use my photos to advertise it. I said "yeah sure , but you won't need them cos I want to buy it back off you!" On a truck as we speak and hopefully should have it on Monday.

This is coming back home next week... so someone please buy the E34 so I don't have to live on 2 minutes noodles for the next 6 months! Will consider serious offers from Bimmersporters.
