was there today , engine has been lifted up[on dodgy hoist] and sump removed, might be a bit more room ,easier to remove 🤔

Mine are low offset 20/22, I think E46 are high offset [high 40s] i think. Would make your wheels stick further out , some one with better wheel knowledge might chime in with some advice.You may have to roll guards etc.

Have a set of 5 , 8 inch wide style 32s 18inch , if you cant find any staggered sets [ i have been looking for 9 inch rears for my E38 for ages]

True for me to, have 2 Singapore E38s and a Japanese E36. Touch wood never had a problem with electronics , always the plastics ,roof lining etc, and the AC always worn out ?

East Cape coastal road can very rough sometimes and not kind on your rims , and you are in a very remote area. But the vista is worth it. If you like fishing you are in prime kingfish area

The E38 SPORT models i drove overseas didn,t mind a bit of the twisty stuff now and then. You had to be really silly to get them all out of shape
