Thats a serious piece of reinforcement! I attempted to put the stock suspension back (M-Sport II) in my E39 and failed getting the rears in. Tried using spring compressors (didn't really help) and pulling down on the hub to get the bottom spigot thing mounted but wasn't able to get the whole assembly down far enough to get it in. Any pointers? I remember gettig it out was a breeze too

Naice, the interior contrast looks good! Rear blind is different, I knew you could get them and have seen them on trademe but never in an actual car...yours came factory?

For that money I'd rather an E36 M3 They're not doing themselves any favours with that advert, 1 pic of half the car, 2 line description. Must be listing because the wife said so...whaappiisshhhh

You'd be swapping more than the bottom end for a 2.5 swap, I didn't think the 2.0 head worked with anything else...Pulling the head off will be a much cheaper (if your paying someone else) job compared to practically a full engine swap/rebuild. Re: the tech 1 kit, why not just fit fit the front and rear aprons and colour match your rockers untill you find actual cab skirts? Selling the coupe skirts can go towards funding the paint job

^^ I've always used LJ SMitts as well, price depends on paint...don't think theres flake in Calypso so should be <$30

I'm interested in the sealant, almost any abrassive paste or liquid with clear up the foggyness. Preventing it from returning is the issue.

Nothing worth hearing about anyway If this thread is anything to go by...

Sagging apron is easy to fix, for 10k you'd hope it still had the same engine.

Think I saw this not long ago, looks good bro.

Good luck with the wiring, definately my least favourite job on any project. Nice progress so far, gonna be sweet when its all finished up...And hard to beat 15" weaves on an E30!

Lol should've hid it better, I'm planning on moving it back to my place to get her back on the road in the next month or so... Too many cars at my house

Replaced my E39's broken plastic window squiter hoses with PFL E39 rubber ones. I can finally fend off window washers at traffic lights.

As above I'd aim at around 6-7k... yours seems like it is in better condition than mine was before I sold it and I had it insured for 6k, sold it for 5.8k.

I sold a refrubed set without tyres for 1k a couple weeks ago.

Could be moved to come out the vents under the windscreen.

Did you lift the engine up a bit? I've done it in place, wasn't too hard?
-
Have you had many people round to check it out so far? Surprised it hasn't sold

And go over the fabric with a stiff brush after each layer.
