  2. ^ +1 along with the dude spreading the fake charity donation emails. Seriously disgusting wankers. What is cool though is apparently they have over flowing supplies of water/food and blood, people are getting turned away from the blood banks.

Sweet, Ill keep an eye out. My wipers suck. Are you running M3 offset control arm bushings now? Whatya rekon compared to the stock bushes?, where you using the BC's before swapping the bushes? Im considering installing some in mine, hopefully to improve some of the "dartiness" at speed with some more caster, scared myself during the 5am commute to work this morning...
  9. Quite possibly true, only ever heard it idling and getting moved about in the shop, it did sound the business doing that though
  10. Anyone recommend me a windscreen fella to do my p/fl E30 (Auckland) Rough guide on what you'd expect to pay? Ive never found a glass man Ive actually liked before, either ripped me off for euro glass or theyve done a shoddy job. Got a nice crack in it last week, PITA as I was going to pull the glass out during the respray, but now am gonna have to do it twice....

Good spotting, they do look cool. Need more info
  12. Mate had an XYGT Sitting in his shop for awhile, AFAIK stock engine, but it sounded very very tough (lumpy) with NO balance pipe in the custom exhaust. Sounded so tough, I asked how the exhaust was plumbed. Maybe its a firing order thing?

  14. Mechanically Inept mate has a ~1996 Legnum VR4, Automagic. Its got 200k clicks on the clock and sounds like a chinese sweat shop full of sewing machines at idle. It hasnt had an oil change in 3 years (to give you an idea of its mechanical state...) It recently begun dying randomly, ie cruising down the motorway the engine will just stop, and wont restart for a few minutes. It does it seemingly at random, doesnt seem to matter if its accelerating etc etc. Its been to a few shops, Scan shows up nothing, another place has done a bunch of fuel system maintenance on it, charged $500 and it still does it. Its currently back at this shop, but I seriously think these clowns have no clue. I dont have much experience with these POS, but my theory is its either the ECU having a drysolder joint /bad contact somewhere, or the battery/alternator is shagged, havent tried to diagnose it myself though, just guesses. Anyone have any experience with these things, or any suggestion on what else too look at?
  15. Coupe of problems if they decided on Clubsports, they seem to have a few rules that go with HSV ownership. 1 - No world leaders would take John Key seriously while sporting his mandatory mullet and goatee, and epic beer gut. 2 - We would need to replace them with the latest model every 3 mths to keep up with the Jones's 3 - The worlds supply of plastic mesh, ugly random cutouts, fake scoops, plasticky interiors and tacky gauges is in short supply. By purchasing 34 cars worth of them, We wouldnt be considered a responsible country to waste these valuable resources.... 4 - Every member of parliament would need to be issued with a mandatory HSV jacket and cap, with optional disturbing HSV tattoo.

    lol wtf

    Too much P for breakfast...
  17. Could probably fix the brace with some ~5mm packers to lift it up over the bumps in the top of the struts, and slotting the holes even further to get it too line up. Problem is that the load is then all on the 2 piddly strut studs, instead of the strut tower.
  18. ^ nup, but thats not the problem, check out the pic in the link.
  19. Beginnings of the cold airbox, and ultra racing strut brace installed, Think ill remove it as it doesnt fit very well (I can see the studs on the top of the strut snapping off...)
  20. Does you front strut bar ride up on the stiffening "lumps" in the top of the front struts? Just went to install mine and I rekon it fits like sh*t, and with the big slotted holes I doubt its gonna do jack in terms of resisting movement, all its doing is trying to snap the studs of the struts.. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=398995 Wondering if the strut tops on your e30 are different too mine, or you have a different brace??
  21. Just heard this from a mate, made me laugh. "Well, ya know, Hone is just a Post Tortoise." "What's a Post Tortoise?" "When you're driving and you come across a fence post with a Tortoise balanced on top, that's a post Tortoise. You know he didn't get up there by himself, he doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he's up there, he sure as hell isn't goin' anywhere, and you just wonder what kind of dumb bleep put him there in the first place."
  22. You guys who are bashing dole bludgers for sucking up the goverments funds have it a bit backwards, I used to do it too. I cant remember the actual figures off the top of my head, but dole bludgers and sickness benefit's didnt even come close to the money spent on pensions. Bashing old people for taking all the money isnt exactly tasteful though... Didnt the NZ police get offered 5 series awhile ago but settled on falcodores simply because of the public perception of cops in bimmers? Cocklozenge <- Epic word of the day!
