    Classic Car show.

Ahhh, that makes more sense! Was wondering why there were so many porsche's, all in the best spot.

    Classic Car show.

Think I might have worded that wrong, wasnt bagging it at all. Was a cool display of M3's (obviously!) But even the Mrs asked, "where's the rest of the bmw's?" Was hoping that mint Alpina B7S would be there

That stratos was awesome, had lots of TVR want going on too. The "corvette" special pictured above was diabolical, epic american styling fail! Kinda cool in an I want to poke my eyes out kinda way. I was most impressed by the MG midget getting caned though, most of the ones ive seen seemed to be nana'd around by elderly gentlemen!
  5. Intake heat You can blank the system off easily enough, One fitting is on the "spider" hose, the other is off a fitting on the head, runs too the throttle body to de-ice it. or just put a k&N panel filter in it...

    Classic Car show.

Nice show, the motorkhana was cool to watch, MG midgets/minis owning camaros The Z club, Mini's, porsche and the italian displays were easily the best. BMW display was average, 7 or so 3 series from E30 onwards. E30 M3 & a Z8 in the masters though (both obviously immaculate). Where were all the 2002's, E21, E34's, Alpinas etc etc etc... ? In all honesty, for the bimmer nut, your probably better off walking around the carpark (As well!) Saw an E34 M5, and a nice blue 8somethink Some pics -
  7. The LC looks like a pokemon that just got slapped with a fish...
  8. Pity most of the public in NZ would think "what a weird looking VN commodore" Still rather have one lotus carlton over 3 dime a dozen HSV's
  9. ^ +1 , carlton is so shweet, never seen one in NZ though.
  10. What! No flame war!? Whats going on Fair play, be sure to start a project thread, im not really a rotary hater, more a of a rotary bongo hater. Workmate has a 20B cosmo (mint, stock) that is pretty friggin cool for a mazda. In all seriousness, I wouldnt worry about P/S either. I wonder what a quicker rack (e36 etc) without the p/s plumbing would be like with the lighter engine. Stock e30 rack has quite bus like ratio, feeling can be improved with suspension work though.
  11. p/s in e30's is for woosies, id imagine with a little 12A in it'll still be quite light, as opposed to putting a real engine in
  12. In the first vid, anyone else notice that his tach and speedo arent working.
  13. Lightly tap it with a mallet all the way around the gasket, if that fails, thin plastic scraper and a hammer works

    Starter motors

I just ground a chunk outta the rib on the block, big old skool starter bolts up fine to the M50/260.
  15. Same designer as the 507 Goertz is da man, pity modern designers dont have the same style. A camel is a horse designed by committee/bangle
  16. From wikipedia 288's are a bargain.
  17. ^ +1 That and the 62 250 GTO. Pity ill never be able to afford either
  18. Cheers Ray, Ill give you a buzz later in the week and work out when I can shoot around. Hoping to get the end of the week off work EDIT - Got a wiper relay too?
  19. Ahhh, so the bumpers are the same as the trim? Some ass clown has "shadowlined" mine in the past, just done a sh*t job of it , made a mess are ruined it, so would like to return it all to stockish when it gets resprayed.
  20. A mate used to have one, nice and tidy, but 10 odd years ago now with a L28 with triple dellortos. He paid less than 10 for it at the time. Lots of want, wish I bought it off him when he sold it.
