Is it possible to get a radio gauge panel with 2 x 2" and 2 x .5"? ie gp1004c but the right 2" swapped for two .5" switch holes.
-
Not initially. Sorting a dyno tune at rx7heaven. But im goin to get a wideband O2 so i can exploit the live tuning option in tunerstudio, which tunes your fuel table and accel enrichment as you drive.

I think knock detection is pre-installed only on the gen2 mspnp. Only gonna work if there is knock sensors originally, but there is an aux connection ready to go if you want to install aftermarket sensors.

To Steve Murch, (can't pm you as you've blocked me, but I would like to clear up a missunderstanding) I cant recall bagging the mapecu, infact i meant not to, it is a good functional unit. My whole problem has been that no-one (apart from you, who is too busy to help face to face) has been bothered to tune or offer advice on what to do. Of course you're going to get another story from Richie Rich (Richard at APT). He's a two faced unhelpful selfish c**t, only interested in his own appearance/"reputation". He is the one bagging the mapecu unit not me. You can find my thread regarding apt and the many other members thoughts on Richard and the APT outfit. I'm sorry if you feel that way as i've found your advice and expertise very helpful, and meant in no way to put you or your product down. Regards, Andrew edit: link to thread - http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....uning&st=15

Out with the old and in with the new... Recently purchased a stand alone ECU to replace the headache created by my mapecu2 piggybacker. Unit is the Megasquirt PNP2 designed specifically for motronic 1.1 & 1.3 ecu's (will drive m20's and m30's). I also tidied up the oem loom (removed the aux mapecu loom and resoldered the original wires into place), to make ready for the new addition. Also will have to jumper the boost circuit inside the unit to the db15 connector so as to connect my GM solenoid. Will add pics of this in due time.

The wagon has received some much needed TLC over the last few weeks. - New wheels 17x8 BBS RX with 225/45 Michelin PS3's - New AFE oil/mesh panel filter as the old was tatty and paper. - New clutch arm bushings - removed the damned squeak and side to side play. Heres what the new ones look like, and the old shitty ones with a slot in them? (weird design imo) - Also new rotors & pads all round and converted to the larger e36 calipers at the front. Front rotors slotted just for shits and giggles.... (will add some pics once i take wheels off to rebleed)

Hi guys, Having trouble finding out what this plug is for and if necessary as it was empty when i found it. Heres the one in question, 2 wires come out of the ecu plug and 1 wire continues along ecu loom away from ecu. I've tidied up my hacked loom after removing the mapecu2 unit and am returning to standard for my new MegaSquirt PNP2 unit, connects directly through the original bosch connector!! More on this in my project thread.

Replaced the clutch pedal bush with turners delrin bushings, the clutch feels smooth with minimal sideways movement now. If you have a manual e36 i recomend this mod, only cost $30nzd incl shipping. Also used the samco e36 intake boot to delete the asc in my mates e36 328. The results were promising with freeer revving and faster throttle response. Although it still has jap cats so there will be alot more room to breathe once removed.

Hirepool car transporterer for 50 something half day if you have a towbar. AA will take it anywhere within 20km for free if you have membership (and $18 for every 10km after that), or otherwise OTS is another company which act for AA and are reasonably priced if you pay cash edit: Otherwise get some of that radiator seal sh*t and it should stem the leak if its not too bad.
